available in our communit y. B eyond our pr imar y responsibilit y for local publicly funded mental health ser vices, MSBH understands that behavioral health is essential to overall health, and many domains of life contr ibute to one’s behavioral health, especially having a home, pur pose and communit y connec tion. As such, MSBH seeks to address the needs of the whole person and collaborates to improve the systems of care of the whole communit y throughout the region. The most impor tant core value of our organization is hope hope: The belief that resilienc y and recover y are real provides the essential and motivating message of a better future – that people and communities can, and do, overcome the inter nal and ex ter nal challenges, bar r iers, and obstacles that confront them in order to achieve wellness.
