WE SOLVE THE TRANSPORT IF YOU HAVE THE CARGO The carrying idea for the corridor is that through cooperation between different stakeholders with different area of specialization we can give customers best possible support in every situation. The corridor has domestic conjunctions meaning that it is easy to change final destination depending on the situation or new decisions. Through the conjunctions we also get redundancy in the transport system meaning that we have a possibility if something exceptional happens (e.g. accident, traffic jams etc.,) to change transport route or if needed transport mode with the ultimate goal to reach the markets as agreed…in time. The Midnordic Green Transport Corridor (NECL II) -project started in 2010 as an EU project with the goal to solve transport issues such as infrastructural needs, regulations, bottlenecks etc. The corridor is however now evolving from a project to become an “Efficient Green Transport Cooperation Route” between different stakeholders in the Midnordic area able to handle transport needs between Russia and the Midnordic area (Norway, Sweden and Finland). This means that we are moving from project towards business. In Russia we can currently reach St. Petersburg and Moscow area.
