Welcome to the Pickwick Player Production of Leader of the Pack. We are thrilled to share with you the works of Ellie Greenwich, a talented singer and songwriter who wanted to share her art with the world. Through hard work, dedication, perseverance, and a charming personality, Greenwich was able to accomplish her dreams and make songs we still know and love to this day. Somewhere through that journey, she found love and made everlasting friendships and unforgettable memories. We can all see a bit of ourselves in Greenwich.
A prime example of this is The Pickwick Players. We are a group of young people who have so much talent to offer whether we've been here six years or just a few months. We work hard for the art we love and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Thank you for being here, and please enjoy the show!

The Theatre Network of Texas is a private, nonprofit organiz ation dedicated to serving the theatres of Texas and the communities they serve. TNT sponsors internships to address the needs of theatres for qualified assistance, and the need of students for information about theatre careers and for job opportunities in the field.
The goal of the Theatre Network of Texas Summer Intern program is to expose students to the theatre profession by providing firsthand experience, giving an overview of current issues in the profession, and facilitating job opportunities through contacts made in the Texas theatre community.
As part of this program, Brooke Lee joined the Staff of MCT for five weeks this summer and has worked in a variety of areas, including assisting with Summer Theatre School, working in the Costume Rental Shop, and setting up for Summer Mummers.
Brooke is a Sophomore at Austin College in Sherman, Texas pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a Minor in Education and English. She is a member of Alpha Psi Omega, Alpha Lamda Delta, and the Treasurer for Xi Epsilon.
MCT is proud to be a Host Theatre in 2023 and we absolutely adore Ms. Lee and wish her the best in her future endeavors. It has been a pleasure to work with her and share what we do behind the scenes. The Theatre Network of Texas Multicultural Initiatives Paid Summer Theatre Internship is funded in part by the Theatre Network of Texas, Inc, The National Endowment for the Arts and The Texas Commission on the Arts.

From 1989 to 2018, MCT held a national playwriting competition in honor of Mike McLaren a beloved volunteer.
Starting in 1996, MCT concluded this competition with the McLaren Comedy Festival – a reader’s theatre presentation of the top Finalists.
MCT suspended the competition due to waning interest in reading hundreds of very bad scripts trying

The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world's most beloved musical.
A born and raised Texan, Madison Clements has been living in the DFW area for the last two years to study Art Education at the University of North Texas, where she has had her work displayed three times. However, her passion for art began in her hometown of Midland.
The Permian Basin has now hosted Maddy’s artwork several times in various exhibitions, including the Downtown Farmers Market and the newly launched Midland Art Crawl.
Maddy often draws inspiration from the people and things she loves which is why for this particular exhibition she chose to focus on “a dog’s vision”. While Maddy has no dogs of her own (for now) she is surrounded by furry friends whom she loves and spoils. She has been fascinated by the research behind “a dog’s vision” and has chosen to explore dog portraits as seen through their own eyes.
