Download your purchased product from: www.trendmicro.com/bestbuy and click Install Program. Trend Micro will then perform a system check of your computer.
NOTE: If you have slow Internet and cannot download the product, please visit www.trendmicro.com/homeinstall to order a free installation CD.
Select Paid version, then enter your Serial Number and click Next. Your Serial Number can be found on the inside cover of this Quick Start Guide
Enter your email address and click Next. If you already have an account, be sure to use the email address assigned to this account and click Next. If this window does not automatically open, use the shortcut icon on your desktop.

www.trendmicro.com/bestbuy Open your Downloads folder and double-click Trend Micro DMG file. Click Install Trend Micro Antivirus to launch the installation program. Click Continue when asked.
Click Install to authorize the installation. Once the installation is complete, click Close to close the installer.

Sign into your existing Trend Micro Account, or create a new one, and tap Next.

Enter the password for your Trend Micro Account and select Sign In.

Installation for Windows 10 in S Mode If you have already activated your Trend Micro Activation Code and created your Trend Micro account, skip ahead to Step 4. To start, visit:

If you are using the Trend Micro Product Activation Portal, tap Install to go to the Windows Store and install the Trend Micro Security for Best Buy extension. Or go to the Microsoft Store to install: www.trendmicro.com/edgeprotection
Enter your Trend Micro Activation Code and tap Next. Your Activation Code is the same as your Serial Number and can be found inside your Trend Micro box.
Create a new Trend Micro account, or sign into your existing one. Then tap Next.

Open Trend Micro Security on your Edge browser. Tap Sign In and then sign in with your Trend Micro account.
Use the Trend Micro Security for Best Buy Edge extension to scan for and block dangerous websites, prevent disrupting ads, and store secure passwords.

If you are using the Trend Micro Product Activation website from step 1, tap Install to go to the Chrome Web Store and install the Trend Micro Security extension for Chromebooks. Or go to the Chrome Web Store to install: www.trendmicro.com/chromebookprotection
Enter your Trend Micro Activation Code and tap Next. Your Activation Code is the same as your Serial Number and can be found inside your Trend Micro box.
Create a new Trend Micro account, or sign into your existing one. Then tap Next.

Open Trend Micro Security on your Chromebook. After reading and agreeing to the Privacy & Personal Data Collection Disclosure and License agreements, tap Accept and Start.
Tap Sign In and enter your Trend Micro account information.
