Adjusting the flow of water using the screw or switch on the pump: After doing all the arrangements, its time now to check the flow of the water, adjust the way in which you want the water to come out of the fountain. If the jet falls at the sides of the water rather than in the middle,the water is lost faster. If the jet throws water at a high speed then a lot of water will be splashed outside the pond. This would require filling of the pond again. So, it is important to check the flow by first starting it at a 'low' or 'down' position and then and then slowing raising the level. It would be a good idea if a family member or a friend is there to guide you. Ensure that the water falling from the spray fountain goes back into the pond without spilling outside.
