Quick Cinnamon Raisin Halwa Serves: 2 cups raw sugar 2 cups clarified butter (or 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup ghee) 2 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder 1 cup water 1/4 cup golden raisins 1/4 cup cashew nuts To Garnish: 2 tsp rose water (optional) Few slivered almonds
How To Make Cinnamon Raisin Halwa: First, melt the clarified butter (or ghee and oil) over low heat in a large Kadai. Next, heat the sugar until it melts completely, and then add atta online and cinnamon powder to the mixture. To this add 1 cup of water. Mix well and now add the raisins. Again, mix well and keep it aside. Now, take the remaining sugar and add it to the mixture. Mix well and keep the same aside. Again, take the cashews and blend them into a paste. Add them to the sugar mixture and mix well.
