The Scott Sportster range is large and can be difficult to understand at first. To try to give an organised picture, I’ve divided the range into two. It’s important to realise that price and model number do not correlate as you might expect. In fact the higher spec models have lower numbers, and vice versa. So the Sportster 10 is the highest priced model and the 30 is the lowest of this group. However, this doesn’t always follow – the 25 is more expensive than the 20 All four are available in standard Sportster and Solution versions. The original idea of the Solution was that it should be a womens bike. However many men have found that they prefer the more MTB look. Each version of a particular model differs in:Frame geometry (and maybe colour) Handlebar – the Solution version being a bit longer and having a bit more bend.
