Whenever we ask our audiences what they liked the most in an Amusix show, they often mention the hard-working musicians. But more importantly, it is their love of seeing our players grow and evolve over the years.

“They are getting better and better” they say.

Yes Sir, whatever the venue, we will always deliver.

Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. And the youngest are hungry.

Next season we are losing our seniors musicians as they graduate and move on to university. The kids who have been with us through thick and thin. They have been the core of Amusix.

Tahir has been with us for 11 years now, almost 10 years for the Brothers Zaide and Taye. Talk about devotion. Thank you and I love you.

For some of you, this place is like a second home where you grew up, had fun, got yelled at, had your spot, had your shot, lost it, got it back, found us demanding, heard me say “Nothing from nothing means Nothing”… and you guys still come back every winter and summer after graduation (You’re Welcome).

Keep this book. When you’re old and the internet is not working anymore, this one will make you smile and remind you that you’re also an Amusix Gen.
