If you are interested in attending SACSA’s annual conference and can attend, please fill out an application for sponsorship by Friday, October 6 by following the QR code.

The Professional Development Committee will review and select 2 UNG students and 2 UNG Division staff members to fund their SACSA experience.

Be the Difference…The Difference is YOU! A student or colleague you know could be experiencing a mental health crisis.

LEARN AN ACTION PLAN to HELP.

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance abuse disorders.

You will be given the tools to recognize the signs and symptoms of a mental health challenge, to listen non-judgmentally, and give reassurance and resources to refer someone o the appropriate professional support services.

Go to the Staff Council website to review the Staff Development Funds page for guidelines, review process, eligibility criteria and maximum awards as well as the application process.

UNG staff members may receive up to a total of $500 to participate in a single event.
