Nervous times at Sporting

It’sbeen a difficult few weeks for The Rouslers, picking up just one win in the last six matches. However, most of the points lost have been to teams at the top of the league whilst clubs lower down have not done much better than Sporting. At the time of writing they sit 13th in the league and just a few more points will keep them well away from the relegation zone.

It is easy to complain about bad luck but Sporting have been playing well and lost four of those games by just one goal. Unfortunately, unlike rugby there are no points even for narrow losses.

Bromsgrove Sporting Ladies have slipped to fourth in their league following a couple of defeats, but they have several games in hand on their opponents. They still have a dozen matches to play, six of them at home so their season will go on to the end of May.
