Historic Hanbury Hall gardens and parkland
H
anbury Hall has reopened its gates for visitors to the gardens and parkland after being closed during lockdown. Make the most of those extra hours of sunshine this summer with a family stroll around the beautiful gardens at Hanbury Hall. Our gardens are at their peak during the warmer months, with striking colours and scents to take in, and wildlife in abundance. Summer is also a great time to pull on your adventurers’ hat and explore the parkland – you never know what bugs and beasties you might find amongst the undergrowth and you’ll find plenty of space to run around and let off steam. Visitors can pitch up a picnic on one of the many lawns or pick up a tasty treat from our Stables Café, open until 4.30pm daily. Don’t forget the afternoon ice cream, with plenty of yummy flavours to choose from. Pre-bookings are now operating for visitors hoping to enjoy a stroll through the National Trust gardens and park. An advanced booking system has been introduced in a bid to help manage visitor numbers
and maintain safe, social distancing. All visitors must book in advance, even if they are members, with tickets being released every Friday for the week ahead. The Gardens, Parkland and Stables Café are open daily, 9.30am5pm, for pre-booked visits booked via the Hanbury website: www. nationaltrust.org.uk/hanbury-hall-and-gardens. Normal admission applies, National Trust members and under 5s are free. *Please note that the shop, main tearoom, visitor reception building and hall itself all remain closed until further notice. We currently only accept card payment in the Stables Café.
