Fitness Centre for Overweight People

Purpose:

Reduce the obesity rate in Hong Kong through the interior

Intended target audience: Overweight People

Concept: Hourglass

The 2/F is the activity area, whch provides a varety of sports for students to explore their interests and develop exercse habits In addition, there is a changing area for students to change their clothes before and after exercise.

As I started exercising and focusing on my body, I found that some of my friends were overweight or slightly obese. So I collected data on obesity in Hong Kong in recent years and found that the obesity rate in Hong Kong has reached 50%. There has been an upward trend in the past decade, and more and more people are dying from obesity-derived complications, which has seriously affected public health.

The 1/F is an area that provides various psychologica/physiological counseing and healthy cooking classes, alowng students and tutors to understand and solve obesty problems in a multinteractive way.

I realize that we can no longer ignore the obesity problem in Hong Kong, and I want to reduce the obesity rate in Hong Kong through interior design.

The G/F is mainy a pace to provide information and heathy meals, so that everyone can understand that heathy diet is an important part of weight loss. In addition, a cimbing area is also set up for everyone to chalenge themselves

Activity and GYM Area

The Activity and GYM Area has a variety of sports equipment training types, yoga, aerobic training, anaerobic training, etc, allowing students to choose the most suitable type of exercise.

The Workshop Area is the first step to try diet. Students can go to Healthy to buy ingredients, and then make their own healthy meals.

The feature wall of Reception is inspired by the fluidity of sand, as the first area to allow guests to have a visual sense of my design concept upon entering.

In addition to the seating area, the dining area also has a stand-up dining area, allowing guests to get to know stand-up food and get in touch with the food culture of different places.

Reception Workshop Area Cafe and Dining Area

Private exercise rooms can be provided for more introverted guests to try out sports without the gaze of others.

The tutorial area refers to the shape of an hourglass and consists of two large circles up and down, which is convenient for students to sit in a circle and increase communication between students and tutor

Only the climbing wall on the first floor can reach the sitting are on the second floor. In the sitting area, you can enjoy free health bar

School Project (Individual)

Title: Fear and Freedom Exhibition

Purpose: Design an educational exhibition on life and death, so that the visitors audience can reunderstand death and no longer be afraid of death.

Concept: Fear and Freedom

The implementation of green burial in Hong Kong has not been ideal. First, because most Hong Kong people still retain traditional Chinese ideas, they believe that a complete body must be left behind after death. Second, most Hong Kong people are afraid of death. , so there is not much planning for after death during life.

And my design intends to use the story Socrates being unfairly sentenced as a extension to bring out the message that "Death is not terrible, loss of freedom moreterrible" , and bring you a brand new life and dea education.

Bird View Tunnel

Advertising Tunnel

Death Experience Tunnel

Through the projection of bird vision, experience the vision of flying freely after becoming a bird.

In the concrete-filled tunnel, the advertising effect is used to let visitors understand how the urbanized society restricts freedom.

Through the shadow of the bird and the echo of the call in the tunnel, imagine the reincarnation process of becoming a bird after death.

Concept:

Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage

Languageisnotjustatoolof communication,butacarrierofculture

What do you think language is? Is it a communication tool? Just some words and pronunciation? In fact language is not only a tool o communication but also a carrier o culture. For example, performing art such as Canto-film, Canto-pop, and Cantonese opera, once Cantonese i lost, these cultures will disappea with them. My project will connec Cantonese culture through intangible cultural heritage and Chinese character culture so that everyone can further understand Cantonese culture through the senses and understand its preservation value.
