Iama21-year-oldarchitecturestudentfromCzechRepublic. CurrentlystudyingatUMPRUMinPrague,whereIampart oftheA3studio.Myjourneyinarchitecturebeganwith asolidtechnicalfoundationgainedduringmystudiesat HighSchoolofConstructionEngineeringinLiberec.This backroundprovidedmewithstrongpracticalandtheoretical skillsinconstructionanddesign

Attheageof16,drivenbyapassionforthefield, Iapproachedoneofthetoparchitecturestudiosinthe CzechRepublic,Mjölkarchitekti,withaboldrequest:to mentormeandlateremployme.Theyagreed.Sosincethen Ihavegainedoverfiveyearsofhands-onexperience, contributingtomeaningfulprojectsandrefiningmycraft.

Myprimarypassionliesinexploringandapplyingnew technologies,particularlyincomputationaldesign,its potentialapplicationsincreatingsustainablesolutionsfor thechallengesofthe21stcentury.Iamalsofascinatedby thepotentialoftimberconstructionandmodularsystems, focusingondesignsthatadapttodynamicchangesinthe environmentandhumanneeds.

Throughoutmystudiesandprofessionaljourney,Ihave participatedinvariousarchitecturecompetitions,withsome ofmysubmissionsearningtopawards.Theseexperiences haveenhancedmyabilitytothinkcritically,designunder pressure,solveproblems,andpresentideasclearly.

Forme,architectureisadisciplinethatmergestechnology, aesthetics,butalsoenvironmentalresponsibility.Mygoalis tocontributetotheevolutionofsustainabledesignby integratingcutting-edgetechnologieswithtimeless principlesofformandfunction.

Outsideofarchitecture,Iamansportsenthusiastwholoves stayingactiveandengaged.Footballhasbeenalifelong passionofmine,Ialsohaveadeeploveforskiing.Last monthsIfellinlovewithplayingdarts.

TravelingisanotherwayIseekinspiration,asitallowsmeto exploredifferentcultures,meetnewpeople,anddiscover architecturalfromaroundtheworld.

In2023,IattendedtheHelloWoodfestival,anexperience thatcombinedcreativity,teamwork,andhands-onconstruction Iwantedtotrybuildingsomethingwithmyownhands andexperiencehowdesignscometolife.Itwasagreat chancetomeetpeoplefromdifferentplacesandwork together.Itwasnotonlyaboutconstructionbutalsoabout buildingconnectionsandexchangingideasinacreative andsupportiveatmosphere.

ThisprojectissituatedontheČernostudničníridgeintheJizerské Mountains,nearJablonecnadNisou.Nestledonthesouthern slopebetweentwoiconicclimbingrocks,thedesigncomprises twointerconnectedstructures—asmallerandalarger building—togetherformingadistinctivemountaincottage.

Thespaceisthoughtfullydesignedasahavenforclimbers, runners,skiers,andpilgrimsseekingamemorableexperience intheheartoftheJizeraMountains.Itsflexiblelayout accommodatesavarietyofactivities,fromoutdoorschools andsportscampstowellnessretreatsandevenprivate celebrations.

Doctrina

Theprojectaddressesthegrowingdemandforsport-oriented classesbyexpandinganexistingschoolcomplexwitha modern,multifunctionalbuilding.

Positionedperpendicularytotheoriginalstructure,thenew designutilizesamodularlayoutwithfoldingretractablewalls, enablingflexiblereconfigurationofspaces.Itaccommodates uptofourstandardclassrooms,foursmallerlanguagerooms, andfourteachercabinets,allwithinasleekmetalandglass construction.Elevatedabovetheground,thebuilding preservespedestrianpathwaysandprovidesacovered outdoorareaforexerciseandcommunityuse.Largewindows offeruninterruptedviewsoftheneighboringpark,fosteringa connectionbetweenlearning,nature,andactivity.

Invalidovna Intergenerational Living

Thesensitivereconstructionofthe historicInvalidovnacomplexaimedto honoritsarchitecturalheritagewhile addressingcontemporaryurban needs.

Throughresearch,weidentifiedan opportunitytocreatean intergenerationallivingtypologythat connectsseniorsandstudents.This conceptfostersmutualsupportand sharedlearning,whereseniors benefitfromyouthfulenergyand assistance,andstudentsgainwisdom andstabilityfromoldergenerations.

Byintegratingcommunalspaces, privatelivingareas,andadaptive designelements,therevitalized Invalidovnabecomesavibranthubof interaction,preservingitslegacy whileservingasamodelforinclusive andsustainableliving.

CLTHabitat

ThisprojectexploredtheposissibilitiesofusingCLTpanel forfastaccurateconstructionofresitentialhousing.Thefloorplans arelimitedto3,5meterswidecontainersthatcanbeimported toconstructionsite.
