REMOVE THE CASSETTE AND REMOVE STUCK COIN OR FOREIGN MATERIAL. THEN PRESS THE YELLOW BUTTON TWICE. ONCE ALL THE ARMS ARE BACK INTO POSITION REPLACE THE CASSETTE.

COMMUNICATION HAS BEEN LOST BETWEEN THE ICE TALK AND PLC

DOOR OPEN

FAULT DURING VEND CYCLE

DOOR SENSOR/SWITCH NOT SENSING DOOR CLOSURE

-MAKE SURE ANTENNA IS ATTACHED AND NOT DAMAGED

-TURN THE POWER TO THE ICE TALK OFF THEN TURN IT BACK ON AGAIN

-VERIFY THE ETHERNET CABLE IS NOT CUT

-VERIFY BOTH ENDS OF THE CABLE HAVE A SECURE CONNECTION

-VERIFY THERE ARE NO PLC OR ICE

TALK FAILURES

-REPLACE CABLE

-VERYIFY YOU HAVE ICE IN THE BIN

-VERIFY YOU HAVE BAGS ON THE MACHINE

-MAKE SURE ALL MOTORS ARE WORKING

-CHECK THAT THE BAG FILL SENSOR IS WORKING AND THE SESITIVITY IS ADJUSTED PROPERLY

-VERIFY THE ICE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BIN IS NOT ALL CRUSH

-VERIFY DOOR IS SHUT ALL THE WAY

-VERIFY THE DOOR COMES IN CONTACT WITH THE DOOR SENSOR/SWITCH

OUT OF BAGS

DRAWER FAULT (KI510 & KI810)

BAG SENSOR SENSING BAG BACKING PLATE

VERIFY THERE ARE MORE THAN 50 BAGS ON THE MACHINE

-VERIFY CAM TAB IS LOCATED OVER THE CAM SENSOR

DRAWER DIDN’T RETURN TO THE HOME POSITION

-UV SYSTEM FAILURE

-VERIFY THE SENSOR LED IS LIT WITH TAB INFRONT OF THE SENSOR

-VERIFY CAM CHAIN IS NOT BROKEN

-VERIFY RO TANK IS NOT EMPTY

WATER FAULT

WATER FLOW FAULT

-OW PLUG NOT JUMPED OUT (2019 AND OLDER MODELS)

-VERIFY THE OW PLUG HAS A JUMPER AND IS MAKING A GOOD CONNECTION (2019 AND OLDER)

-VERIFY THE BLUE UV LIGHT IS ON

-VERIFY THE FUSE IN THE UV IS GOOD

-VERIFY THE UV BULB IS GOOD

-VERIFY WATER SYSTEM IS ENABLED

-VERIFY DEMAND PUMP IS WORKING

PLC DID NOT SENSE ONE GALLON OF WATER WITHIN 90 SECONDS

-VERIFY CUT OFF VALVE NEAR UV LIGHT IS OPEN

-VERIFY FILTERS ARE NOT CLOGGED

General Troubleshooting

PROBLEM

MACHINE READS “SOLD OUT”

MACHINE READS “BAD MEM3” OR “INIT”

MACHINE WILL TAKE MONEY, DOESN’T REGISTER AND DOESN’T VEND OR RETURN MONEY

ICE COMING OUT OF CHUTE WITHOUT A BAG

MACHINE WILL TAKE MONEY, SAYS “VEND” ON THE DISPLAY BUT NEVER VENDS A BAG, AND NO ALARMS

BILL VALIDATOR TAKES BILL THEN BECOMES DISABLED

ICE BAG NOT FILLING UP

WILL NOT VEND WATER

PROBABLE SOLUTION

-CHECK FOR ANY ACTIVE ALARMS ON THE SEIMANS

TOUCH SCREEN, CORRECT ALARM

-VERIFY DOORS ARE CLOSED

-VERIFY THE MACHINE IS NOT OUT OF ICE

-VERIFY THE MACHINE IS NOT OUT OF BAGS

-TURN THE PLC BREAKER OFF AND THEN BACK ON

REPLACE THE SD CARD IN THE ICE TALK (1 OR 2 GIGS ONLY) , OR DELETE THE FILES ON THE CARD

VERIFY THERE ARE NO COINS JAMMED IN THE COIN MECH

-VERIFY THE MACHINE HAS BAGS

-VERIFY THERE ARE MORE THAN 50 BAGS ON THE MACHINE

-VERIFY THE BAGS ARE NOT ON BACKWARDS

-VERIFY THE BLOWER IS OPERATIONAL

-VERIFY THERE IS NOT A PLC DISCONNECT ALARM

-VERIFY THERE IS NOT A BAG STUCK

-VERIFY THE BAG FILL SENSOR IS NOT LIT UP WHEN THERE IS NOT ANY ICE INFRONT OF IT

-(KI510 & KI810) VERIFY THE CAM TAB IS INFRONT OF THE CAM SENSOR.

-(KI510 & KI810) VERIFY THE CAM SENSOR LED IS LIT

-(KI510 & KI810) VERIFY THE DRAWER CHAIN ISN’T LOOSE, BROKE, OR STRECHED

-VERIFY THERE ARE NO ERRORS ON THE COIN MECH

-VERIFY THE BILL BOX IS FULLY ENGAGED AND SECURE

-VERYIFY YOU HAVE ICE IN THE BIN

-VERIFY THERE IS NOT ANY ICE STUCK IN THE CHUTE ABOVE THE BAGS

-MAKE SURE ALL MOTORS ARE WORKING

-CHECK THAT THE BAG FILL SENSOR IS WORKING AND THE SESITIVITY IS ADJUSTED PROPERLY

-VERIFY THAT THE BAG FILL SENSOR IS SECURE AND THE WINGNUTS THAT HOLD IT IN PLACE HAVEN’T LOOSENED.

-VERIFY THE ICE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BIN IS NOT ALL CRUSHED

-VERIFY THE AUGER OVERRLOAD IS NOT TRIPPED, RESET BY PRESSING THE BLUE BUTTON

-(KI510 & KI810) VERIFY THE DRAWER SHIM WING NUTS HAVE NOT BECOME LOOSE

-VERIFY THAT WATER HAS BEEN ENABLED

-CHECK FOR ANY ALARMS ON THE SEIMANS TOUCH SCREEN

-VERIFY YOU HAVE WATER PRESSURE COMING FROM YOUR SOURCE

-VERIFY THE FILTERS ARE NOT CLOGGED

-VERIFY THE UV SYSTEM HAS POWER AND THE BLUE LED

LIGHT ON THE UV IS LIT

-(RO) VERIFY THE HOLDING TANK IS FULL

-(RO) VERIFY THE DEMAND PUMP IS WORKING

-VERIFY THE CUTOFF VALVE NEAR THE UV IS ON
