The debt remains unkown due to the revolving door of state disbursments and expenditures. “We have to start today. We have to deal with today and move forward,” Dr. Jeff Hendrix, superintendent, said. “Really, it doesn’t do any of us any good to look back and say ‘we should’ve done this or should’ve done that.’ The reality is that it’s here today, and we’re going to have to make due with how best What is $2.229 million worth? we can deal with this situation now. We’re just looking at the different strategies on how to save money.” The sudden and immediate cuts first announced at the Jan. 12 School Board meeting were the result of a

Editor’s note: Crier has listed the 50 people whose positions were eliminated because, as a public forum, we feel that it is our responsibility to print these names in order for the student body to visualize, internalize and respect the time that they have spent with each staff member. The entire Munster staff has a large impact on every student, and we hold deep respect for the work that these people have done to improve our learning environment.
