ALTA VISTA COMMUNITY
Rancho Cucamonga California November 2025 VOL. 11
November 2025
I am going to go on record and say that this particular year, I have more to be thankful for, than I have had in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, I have always been thankful for the lessons I learned, blessings received and not to mention good health in previous years but this year I am thankful for the good in people. Because I have encountered good in people all around me and even in people I don’t even know who want to help and listen and who show empathy. Such an amazing love that is reassuring and gives me hope for humanity. I am so thankful to be back in this beautiful community with so many beautiful souls too. You have been so welcoming. I feel home, and I mean that. Who knows what the future holds but one thing I know for sure, Alta Vista will always have a place in my heart. I truly am thankful for you all.
As I mentioned in the previous newsletter, we will be contacting those who agreed to volunteer to be in our committee for the “Emergency and Disaster Preparedness”. There is still time to volunteer, we can never have too many volunteers. Please let us know at the office or email us if you want to participate.

I have heard so many negative comments about the organization of the community yard sale that was held in the beginning of October. I want to remind everyone that Management does not participate in the Yard sale with the exception of posting it in the newsletter and hanging a couple signs in the front of the Park. There were 15 homesite who did participate and there were 3 of those homesites that went down Baseline all the way to Milken and as far as Day Creek, hanging up their own signs made by those 3 homesites. Nobody else assisted them. One homeowner has volunteered to take over the planning of the next yard sale. If you want to sell for the next yard sale and want to make it successful, join heads with others like you and plan together. The next yard sale is planned for April 2026, so make sure to look out for the meeting to be held for those who want to have a successful yard sale.

DONATION BINS
We are excited to announce we have installed a Clothing and Shoes donation bin in between the Office and the pool! You are welcome and encouraged to use this bin to donate any old and unwanted clothing and shoes. We Care Recycling are a for-profit company that collects unwanted textiles and resells them in the U.S. and abroad, effectively diverting millions of pounds of clothing from landfills, generating new revenue streams for U.S. businesses and non-profits, and fueling local economies in emerging countries. Clothing & textile recycling encourages the development of additional markets, results in less pollution and energy savings, and reduces the need for landfill space. Proceeds from these donations will be used for resident functions and events; we hope you all will enjoy this.
ONLINE PAYMENTS AVAILABLE
As a reminder, residents have the option to pay rent online instead of writing checks and bringing them into the office. Payments using debit does not get charged, payments using credit card have a small charge. If you are interested in paying online, email or come into the office and ask us for an online invite. With access to this portal, you’re able to view and pay your rent. Note: you are only able to pay the exact amount of your rent for the current month from the 1st to the end of the month. We hope you find this option helpful!
FOUR SIDE INSPECTIONS
We currently conducted half of the parks inspections and we will be finishing the other half this month. Take a look around your house for damages, overgrown weeds/shrubs/trees, bring in any stored items outside, and any other in disrepair items. With your help we can create a beautiful community for you and your neighbors to live in comfortably! Thank you for your cooperation.
STORAGE UNIT WAITING LIST
We are working on a waiting list for the storage units that are available for residents to rent here in the park. Note: we DO NOT have any available at this time, but if you would like to reserve a spot for the waiting list please email the office with the size you wish to rent (prices are subject to change in the new year).

FRIENDSGIVING POT LUCK & BINGO! RSVP YOUR SEAT.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING OFFICE CLOSED
Wednesday Night to Thursday night, is the only time your trash cans should be visible, from the street. Any other day, they should be put out of sight. It is so unsightly and brings the appearance of our community down.
If your can was missed for pick up, please contact the office so we can call Burtek to come out and empty your can.
If you have a pet, clean up after it whether on the homesite they occupy or when being walked around the park community. If you have a yard and you allow your pets to do their “business”, it should be picked up daily. It is so awful to pass by a homesite and smell the pet poop, not to mention the flies!! Please do your part.
Mosquito love water. Look around your homesite for any standing water. Get rid of it as soon as possible so they breed somewhere else.
THE POOL is officially closed for the winter! Pool will reopen Easter weekend! Thank you for your cooporation in keeping a clean and safe pool!
