February

Manager’s Corner 2026

“February is Short but very sweet” said Charmaine J. Forde

Happy February! Whether you're celebrating Valentine's Day, focusing on a fresh start, or just trying to stay warm, hopefully this community magazine finds you well.

We hope everyone had a good time in December celebrating with us on the four days of cheer. We would also like to thank everyone that participated in placing their votes for the Best Decked-Out Door Contest, hopefully more residents can attend in any feature activities.

The utility pedestal (water, gas, electric, and sewer connections) must always be accessible. Water reading is always done on the 12th of each month if you see the following calendar, you can see exactly what days to leave your gates unlocked and pets inside home. If you will be leaving out of town during this time, please plan accordingly to send us a picture of the water meter on the 12th of the month through email.

All rules and regulations must be always adhered to, including weekends.

PARK OFFICE HOURS & COMPLAINTS. Business hours for the Park are posted. Please limit your telephone calls to the Park Office to these hours unless an emergency occurs. You are encouraged to make any complaints, suggestions or comments in writing, when not of an emergency nature.

• 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

• Zest and juice from 1 lemon

• Kosher salt

Strawberry Ganache

• 8 oz. (240 g.) white chocolate melts

• 2/3 cup heavy cream

Strawberry Brownies

Brownie Batter

• 10 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into 1/2" pieces

• 6 oz. (170 g.) white chocolate melts

• 1 large egg

• 1 large egg yolk

• 1 1/4 cups (250 g.) granulated sugar

• 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed into powder (optional)

• 1 cup (140 g.) strawberry puree

• 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

• 2 cups (240 g.) all-purpose flour

• 4 to 5 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced (optional)

• Freeze-dried strawberries, crushed

• into powder, for serving (optional)

Directions

• Strawberry Puree

• 1 tsp. kosher salt

• 1/2 tsp. baking powder

• Pink gel food coloring

1. Step 1In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook strawberries, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice, stirring occasionally, until strawberries begin to break down and sugar dissolves, 3 to 4 minutes. Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until mixture is slightly thickened and resembles strawberry jam, 12 to 15 minutes. Stir in lemon zest and a pinch of salt. Remove from heat.

2. Step 2Transfer to a standard blender (or use an immersion blender) and puree until smooth. Let cool.

• Brownie Batter

1. Step 1Arrange a rack in lower third of oven; preheat to 325°. Line a 9" square baking pan with parchment.

2. Step 2In a medium heatproof bowl, microwave butter and chocolate melts in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth, about 90 seconds’ total.

3. Step 3In the large bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat egg, egg yolk, sugar, and freeze-dried strawberries (if using) on medium-high speed until pale and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and 1 cup (140 g.) strawberry puree; reserve remaining puree. Gradually beat in melted chocolate until smooth.

4. Step 4Switch to the paddle attachment. Sift in flour, salt, and baking powder and beat on medium-low speed until just combined. Add food coloring, a few drops at a time, and beat until desired color is reached, being careful not to overmix. Pour batter into prepared pan.

5. Step 5Bake brownies until lightly browned around the edges and a tester inserted into the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool.

• Ganache

1. Step 1In a medium heatproof bowl, microwave chocolate melts and cream in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth, about 2 minutes total.

2. Step 2Stir in 1/4 cup strawberry puree. Let cool.

3. Step 3Spread ganache on top of cooled brownies. Top with strawberry slices and crushed freeze-dried strawberries (if using).

How to solve sudoku puzzles

No math is required to solve a sudoku. You only need logic and patience. Simply make sure that each 3x3 square region has only one instance of the numbers 1-9. Similarly, each number

can only appear once in a column or row in the larger grid. The difficulty on this puzzle is easy.

The title is a clue to the word in the shaded diagonal.
