The Lumos logo was built off the metaphor found in the strong linear aspects related to the structure of a light in the L letterform. Using cues from this development, different types of light fixtures appear to be mounted or hanging off the letter, making the logo both logistical & functional.

The logo needed to be elegant but also fun, like the products sold. Hence the incentive to create a double meaning with the L, not seeing it as only a letter. When a product is packaged, the light illumination changes according to light type purchased.

Aside from extraordinary lighting designs, the Lumos in-store experience will also be one pushes every boundary of customer service. The store will have the lights on display, free to touch, swing around, dim, & understand how it will interact with a space. There will be colors & soft lighting, all to create a warm & welcoming environment for every customer, staff member, & artist alike.
