States. Around 400 factories export nearly 180 million denim garments to the world every year. In addition there are 25 denim producing factories with a total investment of over $834 million. The monthly production of denim stands at 30 million yards.

Bangladesh’s exports garments to over 132 countries around the world and employs 4.4 million people.

Martin has more than 30 years of experience in sourcing and production and restructured during the last 3 years denim sourcing and production for Takko, an european fashion value retailer (1900 stores). Prior to joining IFC, she has worked for four years as the Senior Environmental Advisor Environmental Standards of Textile and RMG factories.
