Remembering Adam Smith
Last week, we were very sorry to learn of the passing of one of our agents, Adam Smith.
Adam joined us as a licensed real estate salesperson last October and hit the ground running from day one.
A mainstay in our training classes and a daily visitor at our Williamsville office, Adam jumped at every opportunity to learn as much as he could and offer a hand to assist his fellow agents. We were quickly impressed with his drive and we were very thankful he chose us to continue his real estate career as sustained success was on the horizon.
Adam got into real estate as a second career after spending much of his adulthood as a car broker in Los Angeles, working with some of Hollywood’s most famous filmmakers.
Though he was with us for just a short time, Adam made us all feel like lifelong friends. His drive, kindness and professionalism made him the exact type of individual we are proud to have as a representative of Metro Roberts.
We offer our deepest condolences to Adam’s family, friends and colleagues.
We will surely miss him.

Metro Roberts Introduces Real Share Program
BUFFALO, N.Y. – WNY Metro Roberts Realty is proud to announce a new feature focused on the growth of the company and the enhancement of its agents’ financial success.
Real Share is a program in which agents licensed at WNY Metro Roberts can receive payment on transactions completed by licensed real estate salespeople they recruit to the company.
Each transaction closed by a recruited agent is eligible for a $100 payment to the recruiting agent with a limit of $1,000 per calendar year per recruited agent as long as the recruiting agent is a licensed real estate salesperson with Metro Roberts.
All Metro Roberts Realty agents shall be eligible to participate in the program even if their license is in referral.
“We are incredibly excited to release this program,” Broker/Owner/Founder Jim Roberts said. “Real Share will not only help us grow as a company but also serves as another potential source of income for our agents. We are always looking to find ways for our agents to maximize financial success and enjoy long careers as licensed real estate salespeople.”
Enrollment is simple; the Metro Roberts agent will notify the management staff of their potential recruit. Then during the onboarding process, the current Metro Roberts agent will fill out a form claiming participation in the program.
From there, the recruiting agent will have the opportunity to choose how to be compensated for each ensuing transaction from their recruit: Reduction in next year’s CAP, lump sum disbursements or sending lump sums into a retirement account.
