Specialized and Adaptive Recreation programs work together to provide

sport, social, and recreational opportunities for people of all abilities. This includes a variety of Adaptive Recreation programs serving youth through adult with physical disabilities through activities such as wheelchair basketball, adaptive cycling, goalball, and adaptive youth programs. And Specialized Recreation programs for people with intellectual disabilities including programs like Special Olympics sports training, camping trips, community based day trips, art and cooking classes, on-going weekly social programs, and special events like the upcoming Cinderella Ball. Community members requesting ADA inclusion accommodations are also served by the capable Specialized and Adaptive Recreation staff.
