For over twenty years, Metro Healthcare Partners has been an integral part of the South Brooklyn community offering quality healthcare across multiple disciplines. Focused initially on physical medicine, MHP has continued to grow and expand its department offerings, including neurology, orthopedics, pain management, and radiology.

Our facility will work hand-in-hand with your law firm. Your clients will receive immediate appointments with our board-certified physicians who have a long history of excellent patient care.

Additionally, our doctors have many years of experience in medical documentation, reporting, and expert testimony, so you know you’re in the right hands.

Comprehensive care in one location We have a team-based holistic approach to patient care, which allows us to manage a multitude of injuries and conditions. Our ability to provide cross-discipline referrals means a patient can combine consultations, diagnostic testing and treatments in one visit and at one location, making rehabilitation much more efficient. We even have on-site X-Ray and MRI capabilities.

Patient-focused during the Covid-19 pandemic We’ve taken great care to completely renovate our 8,000 sq foot facility. We added state-of-the-art equipment for our enlarged rehab/gym area, brought in new therapy technologies, and improved advanced diagnostic equipment. We also added a state-of-the-art HVAC system that meets strict NYS Department of Health guidelines for sanitation protocols, infection control, and handicap/ADA requirements.

Our Departments NEUROLOGY Metro Healthcare Partners offer a comprehensive range of neurology services. Whether your concern is a traumatic brain or spinal cord injury, sleep disorders or even chronic pain due to head aches or migraines, we can provide effective neurology treatments.

ORTHOPEDICS The orthopedics department at MHP is committed to helping patients reduce pain, return to their previous level of activity or recover from an injury quickly and smoothly.

Our treatment options range from non-invasive to minimally invasive and advanced surgery. Advanced modalities like viscosupplementation are used to speed recovery times and help manage pain.

PAIN MANAGEMENT Our award-winning team of pain management professionals collaborates to assess and treat patients. This allows them to identify the root cause of the trauma and address it while providing you with greater insights on dealing with your condition. Using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies, like Clarius diagnostic ultrasound, epidural injections and shockwave therapy, we provide treatment to help the patient improve and manage pain effectively.

MRI & X-RAY Our diagnostic services, like MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and X-Ray, offer many benefits for guiding diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Our Open MRI, as the name suggests, is open on all sides, so the patient does not enter a tunnel. It helps patients avoid that claustrophobic feeling many encounter in typical MRI equipment. Our facility is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

PHYSICAL THERAPY Our physical therapists work with an experienced team of orthopedic specialists, pain management physicians, massage therapists, neurologists, and chiropractors to develop an individualized treatment plan that will target your specific injury.

Priyesh Patel Radiologist Priyesh Patel, M.D., M.P.H., is a fellowshiptrained radiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D. from The Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He specializes in musculoskeletal and Spine MRI/CT/ ultrasound/radiograph, arthrograms, pain/steroid joint injections, and CT guided bone biopsy.

Shockwave Therapy in Brooklyn, NY In Metro Healthcare Partners’ pain management department, we try to include as many noninvasive treatments as possible. Shockwave therapy is a very easy and effective therapy for chronic pain and injuries.

Shockwaves are audible high-energy sound waves. These acoustic waves are applied to a painful area to accelerate the healing process in the body. They stimulate metabolism and improve blood circulation; allowing damaged tissue to regenerate and fully heal.

How many treatments are necessary and how long does each treatment take?

Each therapy session takes between 10 and 20 minutes depending on the disorder to be treated.

In general, an average of 3 to 6 treatments are necessary at weekly intervals.
