SOCD IN TALLINN Dear Methodists in the Nordic and Baltic countries, We are pleased to invite you to attend the Called2Change SoCD taking place in Tallinn, September 19TH – 22ND 2019.

THEME Missional Church Development in the 21ST Century. We have invited a dozen of speakers from Great Britain, Ireland and the Nordic and Baltic countries to lead us in plenaries, tracks and worship services.

PROGRAM The program starts on Thursday at 19:30 with an opening worship where Bishop Alsted will preach and Pastor Maria Thaarup will lead. As a special guest, we have invited the Irish drama group Play it by Ear to share the gospel in a different way. The SoCD will end on Sunday after lunch at around 13:00. Please remember to sign up for the meals you want, so that our hosting team can plan the cooking. Please choose your tracks when you register. You will be able to participate in two tracks; one on Friday and one on Saturday. On Saturday morning we offer 3 different sessions addressing the theme of breaking growth barriers in small, midsize and large churches. Please also choose one of the sessions when you register. Breaking Growth Barriers: 1. Growing from a small to a mid-size church – Pastor Thomas Risager. 2. Growing from a mid-size to a large church – Pastor Jørgen Thaarup 3. Growing from a large church to an x-large church – Jon Løvland
