A Rolling Stone en Cuba ยกWas the notice of month! Mick Jagger, the singer of the super band The Rolling Stones arrived at the island in private visit. Without doubts a non prospective visit, but that, according to sources, Jagger had as objective apart from knowing more envelope a little the culture of our country, to adjust details of the next concert of The Rolling Stones in our country in March of the 2016, like part of the tour that you/they carried out for Latin America.

The news disclosed it in an interview the guitarist of the alignment, Keith Richards who mentioned the possibility that the concert takes place next month of March in the Latin American Stadium, in Havana.

"We would like to visit Cuba now that the situation is changing. It is a place where have occurred big cultural steps for the whole world. It would be interesting to be there, because it is a new place for us and we will surely be a novelty for them. The negotiations advance and when there is a confirmation we will make it know", the legendary guitarist said.

Richards also revealed that the current bassoonist of The Rolling Stones, Darryl Jones has influenced a lot in the interest of the band to be presented in the Cuban scenarios.

Jones acted in Havana with the band The Dead Daisies composed by monsters of the rock and roll last month of February, when it assured that it would convince Mick Jagger so that the Rolling Stones played for the first time in Cuba.

Mick Jagger revolutionizes the world from Cuba For many, Jagger is more than the vocalist of the band of rock of more symbolism that continues crawling for the scenarios and offering concerts before people's thousands in the main squares from all over the world.

Mick Jagger has been stolen the holders in the newspapers and televisions of half world along this week. The leader and vocalist of the Rolling Stones jumped (another time) to the first planes not for another of its concerts with the mythical Rolling neither for its explosive shows in those that it is twisted as a boy of 15 to the 72 years while it seems that he/she speaks to the hearing the spirit of James Brown or Elvis Presley.

A long time ago, maybe too much, the Cubans were waiting a visit like this. Because for many Jagger it is more than the vocalist of the band of rock of more symbolism that continues crawling for the scenarios and offering concerts before people's thousands in the main squares from all over the world, with the whole dose of polemic that bears to be a band that was in the principle of everything, he saw everything, he made everything, it influenced decisive-mind in the history of the rock and roll and he/she survived herself to continue defending their legend like better they know how to make it: discharging their classics on the public that makes waves in each concert without caring him that these four musicians stopped to already be the terrible boys that left to eat up the world and to discharge their wild adrenaline to the rhythm of Satisfaction, Sympathy for the Devil, Brown Sugar, Gimme Shelter, Paint It Black or Wild Horses.

For the Cuban followers of the "rolling stones" (Mick, Keith Richards, Rum Wood and Charlie Watts), Jagger is the alive myth from a totally bound time to the youth whose sound band served them like refuge, like weapon, like spiritual retirement and that today they remember them as alone they can remember the first years of parties, excesses and stealthy desires.

For that reason the presence of the Stone for these homes the mere color note transcends and becomes a cultural fact of high resonance that opens a new chapter in the emotional inheritance of the Cubans (and not alone those that are about the 60 years) and it allows them to dream to the big thing of a concert of the Rolling Stones in the Island, what would gather to people's of the whole country thousands without doubts.

And, everything is said, this possibility is not very far because few weeks ago declarations of Keith Richards was known in those that he reveals that the Rolling were managing with the Cuban cultural authorities the idea of a concert in Havana next month of March. Be as was, it is necessary to say that neither the representatives of the Stones neither the Cuban authorities have confirmed the news of the concert of the group in Havana.

Mick arrived in Cuba in private visit and it has been exploring the cultural land of the capital. After living the Havana night in some bars, a jump was given by the Factory of Cuban Art, where he stopped in a concert of the band Polaroid and he was interested in the repertoire of these young musicians that you/they have just presented its first disk with a very original speech and

distinguishing characteristic; it shared with the people in the Folk Club of Ambia in the Uneac; he allowed to fall for the orchestra's Swaying concert; it traveled several if-uncles of the Historical Center of Havana, and perhaps before leaving the Island this weekend he sinks to other activities of the Havana cultural scene.

For years firewood has hurtled to the blaze of the polemic in connection with the prominence of the Rolling Stones in front of the Beatles or vice versa (by the way the Rolling and the Beatles didn't have such a rivalry when they began to conquer the world and they shared in more than an occasion in a friendly way among them). But it should not have place for the debate: the band guided for Lennon -who had turned 75 years this Friday - it changed the concepts of the pop music and the rock, it was a icon of the movement and the philosophy hippie, he drank until getting drunk of the psychedelic, he announced the progressive rock and he hugged political postures that were taken as flags.

Today the alive Beatles has more than 70 years. The same age that Mick Jagger who conserves a vitality that doesn't seem of this world.

The certain thing is that the music of the Stones has with the Cubans an intense connection and let us hopes the veteran British rockeros can check it the quickest thing possible. Because if finally they are able to give a concert in Cuba, the public will have the possibility to liquidate a couple of bills with the past while he enjoys live of a legend of the rock and roll. But of being summed up the concert, there only The Stones won't be, but also Lennon, Paul, Ringo and Harry, they are, next to hundreds of thousands of Cuban that although some have not lived them they will feel in the same bowel all the dreams of a generation, that of the years 60 and 70 and the sound of a time that it continues leaning out with force to the present, mainly when it is supported by the wild rhythm of the rolling stones.

Carnal Demise is a band coming from Finland. They were in our country like part of the Brutal Summer Fest 2014. Before the question that if they wanted to be interviewed, they accepted and they consented to this interview. Tim Damion, one of its guitarist, answer the questions.

Greetings for you Tim and for the members of Carnal Demise. For me is a big pleasure can do it this interview. Welcome to this pages of this magazine of rock and metal in Cuba.

A: Tim, tell us about the beginning of the band. Who are their members?

T: We formed the band in 2007 and did our first demo after few months. In the beginning our musical style was more like death/thrash but very soon we found out that the limits of staying between written lines is not for us. So, now we basically write the songs we like to play and i honestly think people can see through it. I mean, if we'd play for example metal-core just because it's the genre of the day, everyone would think "are those guys fucking serious"?

Now we have 4 members in the band: Tommy Shred - Lead guitar, Tim Damion - Lead guitar, Dave - Bass and Hyde - Drums. We're currently looking for a new singer since Ville's (who was our singer in Cuba tour) and our ways separated.

A: How do you know about the Brutal Summer Fest in Cuba?

T: I was looking for possible festivals to go from internet when we released our first album and i sent an e-mail to David Chapet, the guy behind Brutal Fest and Brutal Beatdown Records. He asked us to come there and it surely was a pleasure!

A: What do you thought about to come to Cuba?

T: When we really realized we're going to play in Cuba, we were more than excited! As we are from the northern side of this planet, we thought, damn it will be hot in there, how our gear will stay dry in there? Luckily we didn't have problem with that. But the tour was amazing! Lot of new friends, lot of rum and great shows. I love your country!

A: Now, changing of topic. Told us more about the band. How many CD's have you made?

T: We have made one full-lenght album this far, but the second album is already recorded and just waiting for the new singer. I hope we could release it as soon as possible. You can find two "official" music videos from Youtube of songs called "Flatline Fever" and "Beyond the Walls", but there is some live stuff as well.

The lyrics are mostly about self-destructive behavior. Some of the stories are based in real-life experiences and some are not.

A: Future planes?

T: Our future plans are to find a proper guy for the singer duties and get this new album out so we could hit on the road again. I truly hope we could come to Cuba again in some point!

A: Well, before to finish, a few words for the Cuban public that red this magazine.

T: Cuban people, you fucking rock! I've never seen audience like that, keep it like that. Horns up!

Death & Legacy is a band coming from Zamora. I admit that it is amazed when I listens their music. It is for that reason that I decided to interview them and they consented kindly. Jesus (guitarist), answer the questions.

Above all a greeting and be welcome to these pages of Metal for your Veins. For me it is a pleasure to be able to carry out this interview.

Thanks to you for your work and dedication, it is a pleasure to be able to assist them.

1. First that everything. Why the name of Death & Legacy? Some special meanings?

They are two concepts that we had clear that wanted to join in our letters, in the musical feeling... in the background of the work. The death always present and their inheritance that she leaves you and that you leave him when going. As we wanted to express ourselves in English, because the name came out alone.

2. When and where the band arises? Who are their current members?

It arose in Zamora, of where we are, in the 2013. We were already part of other bands, we all knew each other of much before and we are very friends. At the moment we are Charly (battery), Ely (voice), and Hugo (bass), Manu (guitar soloist) and me (Jesus) guitar and guttural voice.

3. They are few the rock groupings that have a woman like vocalist. Why did they decide to have a woman like vowel? Does something have to do with the musical influences of the group?

Ely is a magnificent singer and a nonpareil frontwoman. We had formed together in another group and it is one of the angular stones of this project... it is not something premeditated, you try to work with the tools that you have the best thing possible and we love game of the voices twice as much.

I had the opportunity to listen the music of their first LP Burning Death and I like it some much. How you define the music of Death & Legacy?

4. It is a quite peculiar style, difficult to label.

He/she has very diverse influences, mainly of Thrash and melodic Death... also features of the old school... We call it Melodic Metal... jejeje...

6. Until to now do you have made the EP “Start to Fall” and their first LP “Burning Death". How was it the edition process and recording of these two musical productions? Do they have thought to take out another CD later on?

In both occasions we count with Dan Diez, of the Rock Lab Studios of Haro (The Rioja), he is a magnificent professional with great experience that he knew how to sense us and to know toward where we wanted to move from the beginning and he knew how to capture it in both works. We have always had very undoubtedly it is what we wanted to hear and as sounding. Everything you take to the much worked study, for what was enough express of recording...

We are already working in what will be the second CD; let us hope to be able to enter in the study in next summer.

7. Do you have the opportunity to participate at some time in some rock festival in their country or outside of this?

Fortunately we have already carried out several national tours and we have been able to participate in several festivals, sharing poster with big bands like Angelus Apatrida, Noctem, Dark Moor, Saurom, Avulsed, Dulcamara, etc...

8. Future plans?

Continue with the “Burning Tour” for the national territory, perhaps to be able to make some incursion abroad... and to record the second album.

9. If you will have the opportunity to came some time to Cuba. You will do it?

Of course. We would be charmed and it would be an honor to be able to accompany them in our love for the music in direct.

10. Well, before finishing, something that wants to say the followers of this magazine.

Biography Bad New Cuban grouping, founded March on 11th 2012 officially. After more than 18 years of professional career, Pedro RenĂŠ RodrĂ­guez (director and bass), he decides to create to Bad News with the vision of approaching the gender rock from a passionate and at the same time very professional aesthetics, beginning the process of creation of a completely own and unpublished repertoire on.

After passing the process of provincial and national audition, the grouping obtains its professionalism in September of 2012, and December 13th of the same year, it signs contract with the Provincial Center of the Music Rafael Somavilla" (Matanzas).

The music of Bad News, moves fundamentally on the Rock ' N Roll, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, so much in Spanish as in English, offering a proposal that being able to satisfy the likes of its members, it is at the same time more affordable to the public I general, vision this not very approached by most of the bands of rock of our country.

The repertoire characteristic of the band seeks to combine the freshness of the Roc ‘N Roll and at the same time to offer a message by means of the depth in its texts.

The experience and the occupation of their members, acquired through many years dedicated to the music, they print to the grouping a stamp of total authenticity In a secondary line of work in the tourist pole of Varadero, Bad News possess a wide repertoire of covers of successes of the rock and the pop music of all the times, many of them covering to the style of the grouping.

The band has stood out among others from the municipality when maintaining a rock conceived to be a place in that, besides the chore of the grouping, the young talent of the town is presented and other companies, becoming a good option and allowing the socio-cultural environment of the municipality.

This is reflected this in the growing number of assistants to the same one (at the present time, it is the converged in the municipality), contributing to the formation of several new bands of rock in the town and to that a great number of youths is studying music in order to form other groups.

At the present time, Bad News, in spite of their recent creation, it is considered by Municipal Culture as grouping of the rock badge of Cardenas municipality.

Joliette is a band coming from Mexico.

Greetings and be welcome to this pages of Metal for Your Veins. For me it is a great pleasure to be able to carry out this interview.

1. First that all. What meanings Joliette?

It is nothing else a name that we chose more inside a list of several. We wanted something that you could pronounce in any part of the world without caring the language. A name that didn't tell you what music type we play; in yes we prefer that the music gives a meaning to the name.

2. We want to know when and where the band arises? Who are their actually members?

Joliette begins in Puebla in the year 2010 among Juan Pablo and Fernando. We decide later invited to Gastón. In October of the 2012 Abraham, original drummer of the band left so that Gabo entered, and in October of the 2013 Rodrigo came out who played the 2da guitar it stops this way to conform the alignment now definitive of Joliette: Fernando (guitar/ voice), Juan Pablo (guitar), Gastón (bass) and Gabo (battery).

3. Which have been the musical influences of the band??

Inside the bands that we all can call like direct influences and in those that we all coincide, the bands are Converge, At The Drive In, Deftones, Everytime, Refused, Alexisonfire and Thrice. But personally we have very varied likes that embrace all type of goods and bands.

To final of bills, that that more it influences us, they are the bands with those that we share the scenario day by day.

4. I have been able to listen several of their tracks and they are brilliant. ¿How would you define the music of Joliette?

The joke is counted alone...post-everything

5. How CD you have made until now? How was the process of recording and edition? Videos made?

We have 2 EP's and a LP. In fact the recording process and production of our materials has always been something that flows naturally, the truth it is that every time that we enter to the study, we arrive with the mentality of not nailing us too much in details that they can frustrate us to the moment of being recording the songs. We like to be the most natural possible; in a same way with the videos.

6. This year you had the opportunity to come to Cuba to participate in the Brutal Summer Fest 2015. What did they find this experience? And the Cuban public? Will we have the opportunity see them here again?

Definitively we will return to Cuba. It has been of the most pleasing and impressive experiences that we have had as band. The public in Cuba received us with the open arms and they were very receptive towards our music. We didn't know what to expect from that tour, and definitively we take ourselves a very pleasant surprise.

7. Âż Do you have the opportunity to either participate in some festival inside of or outside of their country? With which foreign bands have had opportunity to share stage?

Yes, we have made it. We are part of the poster of the poster Lives Latin 2015. It is an enormous festival in Mexico City where they play many international and national bands, coarse with looking for the flyer of that edition, to realize the size of bands and the quantity. Outside of that we have had the opportunity to share scenario, so much in our country as abroad, with several bands that are big to our view.

8. Future plans?

To continue playing, not to stop. And definitively new music.

Reviews Reviews Reviews Reviews Reviews By: PMU Artist: Unlight Domain CD: Ruins of Creation Qualification: 5 to 5 stars Unlight Domain is one of the most important bands in the Cuban scene of black metal and this CD its work teacher. The prestige that possesses it has not won alone through their productions, but during the considerable presentations in direct, where you always leave to a band surrendered to 100%. To statement to proceed, the public always reacts in the possible more positive way and there is a true relationship there, without the intervention of the germs of the contemporary commercialism.

This CD takes for name Ruins of Creation that translated to the Spanish it is Las Ruinas de la Creación. To many it should sound them like a biblical sentence, but if we take a look to the cover we will see that it is a warlike holocaust rather. To the front and old man appears sat down therefore in a throne that sustains with his left hand a scepter, a powerful character he suggests and maybe enemy of the Humanity. To the bottom and under the dimness that project dense large storm clouds, the rickety buildings lay of what was a populous city at some time.

Ruins of Creation are fruit of the guitarist’s Iván Leonard, the vocalist José Target, the bear Camilo Vera and the bass Andry Hernández. These four musicians were able to forge a compact sound, technician and with progressive shades. All collection of the best black metal billed in Cuba is incomplete without the inclusion of this immortal work.

In comparison with previous CD a remarkable improvement is appreciated, imputed to the musical progression that he/she comes showing the band gradually. In this occasion it was such that Ruins of Creation has been acclaimed as a classic of the black Cuban metal on the part of several analysts and consumers of the extreme metal. To be necessary, I should delimit that when I refer to classic I make it to the following meaning: "it works that one has for model worthy of imitation". This is a great recognition, because some few creators have the privilege of leaving a true print in the national scene.

On the step for sure it maintains the band, Mr. Rovira expressed: "Unlight Domain from its foundation is working very strong and it shows of they have left it in each recording. It is never according and precisely there the force that drives her for a road full with obstacles, resides but with sure step. The trust as soon as it can get it seems never to have weakened, a virtue that has allowed him to experience and at the same time to stay to the vanguard."

The recording mixes and masterization was under the care of Iván Leonard in its handmade Supremacy Studio. I should recognize that it got a quite clean sound, since they are audible all the instruments. This result positions Iván like one of the independent producers of more success inside the country, without fear to make a mistake. To point out that the cover is work of Ernesto García (Inkuba) and that undoubtedly it deserves the maximum possible qualification.

The instrumentation is highly competent with good guitar riffs, under more than convincing, very capable percussion and a nonpareil vocal acting. Each topic has his, but I recommend paying special attention to The Age of Man", “Blacken ", Twisted Map of Hell and Rising Demise (Inner Demons)."

LACRIMOSA will throw their new CD on November 6.

The duet of German Gothic rock LACRIMOSA has just announced the title and cover of its new study disk. Through an official statement in their official facebook, the band has just announced the launching of this new work of unpublished: “My dears!"

Next to an orchestra of 60 people we have worked so that, through almost one year and still being in it... we have shortly available the result: November 6 the new album " Hoffnung " (the hope") will see the light.
