The Largest Tuning Exhibition in Europe TUNING WORLD BODENSEE is all about tuning. And so are the strong sales markets in South Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Over 100,000 people visit the exhibition in just 4 days, so the market is extremely well represented. Because the focus is exclusively on tuning at Lake Constance, the industry is ideally placed to reach its target market without any waste coverage. Hence, Harald Schmidtke, Managing Director of the German Association of Automobile Tuners (VDAT) summed up the latest exhibition: "The TUNING WORLD BODENSEE exhibition concept has once again proved its worth. You will not see more tuning anywhere else in Europe.

With 1,000 modified vehicles and 19 world premieres, TUNING WORLD BODENSEE 2009 enthralled visitors and media alike. In 10 exhibition halls and a sunny open-air area, more than 250 exhibitors from all across Europe exhibited new models and innovative accessories which fulfilled the most important requirement for tuning: individualism. With a high-quality specialist exhibition, a chance for different sectors to come together, a trendy programme and a warm southern ambience, this unique event is a must for all individualistic automobile enthusiasts.

Exhibitors: Rolf Joachim Kurz, General Manager, Yokohama Tyres: “We at Yokohama are really happy that, in these supposedly difficult times, it has been possible not only to expand, but also to improve TUNING WORLD BODENSEE. It is great that we could exhibit once again in this very pleasant and successful setting.” Stefan Klein, Tuning/Event Manager at Goodyear Dunlop Trading Systems: "We have exhibited at Lake Constance since the beginning, and for us, this was the best year since we started exhibiting here. We will continue using exhibitions to promote our products, and we will be back at Lake Constance next year.” Stefan Sack, Sales, Foliatec Böhm GmbH & Co. Vertriebs KG: "We had a sensational 1st May here, so much so that we almost couldn’t cope. We almost sold out, and we had to order in new supplies to be sent to Friedrichshafen for the following day.” Thomas Ringhut, Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH: "Our exhibition concept to attract visitors to Carlsson products worked brilliantly. We had an enormous number of visitors. Nowhere else in Germany brings us more customers.”

Ueli Anliker, Managing Director, Ueli Anliker Design: "I have been to a number of exhibitions, but TUNING WORLD BODENSEE topped the lot. The standard here was very high. Thanks to the media presence, after the first day of the exhibition I was already receiving orders from all over the world. I had never thought that everything would move so quickly.

Media: BILD München (28.4.09): “Brilliant, exciting and a real highlight for tuning fans every year.” eurotuner 4/09: “This year, TUNING WORLD BODENSEE in Friedrichshafen showed how an exhibition can defy the current economic crisis.” Gummibereifung 6/09: “The positive mood at the exhibition was infectious for exhibitors and visitors alike. The concept of this exhibition, dedicated exclusively to tuning, combined with the wide range of different activities, has paid off once again.”
