Results of the Door Decorating Contest Announced! by Norah Dorich, Audrey Faucher, & Sophia Zavitz
Hello students and teachers! This month we hosted a decorating your door contest for the November newspaper! Your teachers and you have decorated your door. You could have used all sorts of materials and colors for your door to give it the Halloween effect. The newspaper staff in Ms. Smith’s classroom did our door mummy-themed. For the wrap we cut up newspaper strips and glued/taped them all over the door, for eyes we simply cut out some bright-colored construction paper and made some spiders along the door. We announced this contest in the October issue so everyone could start working, after a while of waiting we have chosen the winners for this contest, they are: Sra. Zegarra in 1st place Ms. Montogomery in 2nd Mr. Chadwick in 3rd
