UNIVERSAL STUDIOS GRAND HOTEL
Universal Beijing Resort™ is a widely anticipated theme park destination featuring several all-new attractions along with the best Universal rides, shows and attractions from around the world – plus specially created experiences designed to reflect China’s cultural heritage. The initial phase of Universal Beijing Resort™ will include the world-renowned theme park – Universal Studios, and Universal CityWalk retail, dining and entertainment complex as well as the first-ever Universal-themed resort hotel.
The design inspiration for the Universal Brand Hotel is 1920’s Hollywood land. California’s stylistic architecture and interior during this time were heavily influenced by both Spanish Revival movement (of the Southern United States) and Hollywood Glamour (between 1920 - 1950.) The theme merges the Spanish Revival’s rounded arches, red clay barrel tile roofs, iron railings, curved balconies, intricate mosaic tile work and warm earthy tones with the luxury glamour of Hollywood’s rich colour and textures.

ADVENTURELAND THE TROPICAL HIDEAWAY
BUILDING AND DINING CONVERSION

This new marketplace is nestled between the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and offers unique eats along the tropical shores of Adventureland. The marketplace features an open-air dock where patrons can sit back and relax on the Jungle River waterfront while enjoying sweet and savory bites. As the sun goes down, flickering torch lights illuminate the area making for an enchanting nighttime setting. Rosita is also hanging out with the visitors, awaiting a Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. boat (which is running uncharacteristically late) to take her on a journey towards a solo career. She spends her time telling jokes and reminiscing about the hideaway from way back when.

THE VINE at the Gateway is located in the 60-acre El Monte Transit Community as a part of the San Gabriel Valley. A region currently flourishing with diverse cultures. El Monte has perpetually served as a juncture of transportation and culture, in other words: ‘a cultural crossroads’. Ranging from its agrarian and locomotive past to its current auto and transit industry, gearing towards becoming a pedestrian village in the future. It will continue to provide the “Asian – Mexican” community with new and exciting Food and Entertainment offerings within steps of numerous transit and residential options.
THE VINE at the Gateway is a vertical mixed –use development comprised of a Hotel and Condominiums with offerings curated towards Dining and Entertainment. It takes advantage of the strong Interstate 10 exposure with long northern vistas of the San Gabriel Mountains.
THE VINE at the Gateway is influenced by El Monte’s past and present while generating a new vision of the future with the integration of transit, community and sense of place.
