We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That is why the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is proud of our partnership with the Meridian Service Metropolitan District, and that through our programs dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, we are not just strengthening bodies, but strengthening our community. Many residents know the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center as a safe space to become healthy, meet new friends and neighbors, or learn how to swim. The kids in the area enjoy our sports leagues and Mom or Dad enjoy being able to get a workout in while the kids are at practice. However, there are people throughout our community that cannot always participate in and benefit from our fee based programs. Many of our neighbors may struggle financially due to the often unforeseen changes that life can bring. Our families in Meridian Ranch are not immune to a sudden loss of job, an unexpected medical diagnosis, or divorce. And that is why every day, we work side-by-side with Meridian Service Metro District to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

their ability to pay, and that is why each year staff and volunteers work to raise money for our Annual Campaign. The money raised ensures we can provide financial assistance scholarships to those who need them and helps kids experience programs like swim lessons, youth sports and even camp for the first time. If you or a family you know needs financial assistance to participate in YMCA programs, please stop by the rec center or speak privately and directly with the leadership staff. The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is proud to be a part of developing a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all Meridian Ranch residents. The View From Meridian Ranch
