The design of the building utilizes many repetitive visual lines as well as symmetry in the traditional style of Ancient Greece
. 11

Plan to Section

The layers
of
columns
and
walls
create
a concentric rectangular form. This shows symmetry and unity
both
vertically
and
horizontally. 13

Geometry, Shape, & Form

Utilizing simple geometric forms such as rectangles, cones, and cylinders the Doric order columns are formed. 15

Repetitive to Unique

Within this design there are repetitive forms, especially within the columns. Ancient Greek architecture utilized repetitive numbers and forms to create a mathematically perfect building.

17

Solids & Voids

The voids between the solids of the building allow for a visual breath, making the building fit better in its environment with glimpses of the surroundings.
19

Symmetry &

Balance

The
temple is symmetrical along the horizontal, and nearly symmetrical along the vertical.
