STAFF RECIPE OF THE MONTH

Quick and Easy Shortbread Recipe

by Wendy Cowper

• 500g flour

• 500g butter

• 250g maizena

• 250g castor sugar

Step 1: Mix all the dry ingredients.

Step 2: Melt the butter and mix in by hand.

Step 3: Press into a greased baking tray and prick with a fork. Step 4: Bake at 150 degrees for about 40 minutes until it just starts to change colour. Step 5: Sprinkle with castor sugar. Cut while hot.
