About Mercersburg Summer Programs Mercersburg Summer Programs are safe, supportive environments that focus on engaging kids and teens on every level and challenging them to broaden their horizons, make new friends, try new things, and create unforgettable memories. Hundreds of young people gather on our campus between June and August to enjoy a variety of programming, with day and overnight options available for ages 8-17. No matter what your interests are, there is a Mercersburg Summer Program for you!

We understand that a parent’s biggest concern is the safety and well-being of their child, and that parents have goals for their child’s social and character development. Because of this, Mercersburg Summer Programs has taken the step of being accredited through the American Camp Association. In addition, all of our summer staff receive full state and federal clearances as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and our instructors—many of whom are Mercersburg Academy faculty or alumni—are trained in safety management, interpersonal skills, dealing with homesickness, and other camp-related issues.
