ANNUAL MEETING
Celebrating 107 years of service to Merced County agriculture, MCFB will host our full engagement at the Merced County Fairgrounds on Thursday, March 6, 2025. This event will carry a full slate of events including recognizing scholarship students and the retirement and installation of board members
Started by Butte County Farm Bureau, AgriBee is a spelling bee contest for elementary grades 4th and 5th focused on agriculture words and definitions. Past events have been held under the big lights of the Mainzer Theatre MCFB has found steady success in hosting numerous participants from throughout county schools The 1st place contestant will receive an iPad and 2nd place will receive $100 to Barnes and Noble

MERCED COUNTY SPRING FAIR
Last year’s beer booth brought much success for our organization and we plan to play host again. Sponsor packages for this are larger than normal but carry heavy viewing from the public. Blue Ribbon Sponsors will have the opportunity for a logo to be displayed for the entire week and are priced at $2,500 for the five-day event. A brochure with information about the company can also be displayed for fair attendees Those that would like to sponsor at a lesser rate can do so under our Red Ribbon Sponsorship for $750 Red Ribbon sponsors will have their name listed on the beer booth banner.
AG IN THE CLASSROOM
MCFB prides itself on our educational outreach to all ages. Many of you have heard of FARM2U Day where third graders had the opportunity to visit with farmers and ranchers. After 12 years, we have elected to go in a different direction where MCFB can take ag education directly into the classroom We plan to kick off the new format in 2025 Virtual FARM2U videos are still available for viewing on our website at www.mercedfarmbureau.org.
CE TRAINING SERIES
CE trainings are needed for many in our industry, and we have had much success since starting the program in 2022. The program is focused on training hours for pesticide license holders in conjunction with the Department of Pesticide Regulation.
