Dr.
Demecho Davis, CEO & Co-Founder
Born and raised on the west side of Charlotte NC, Demecho's childhood is deeply rooted in the Queen City streets. Growing up on Beatties Ford Road gave the aspiring songwriter a birds eye view of the community and the culture
At the time of his upbringing, Charlotte was reaching it's highest crime rate in history Demecho recalls the sounds of gun shots being his lullabies as he slept at night.
His family regularly attended church on Sunday and had frequent family gatherings. With the passing of a close cousin to homicide and beloved grandfather who was the only father figure in his life, like most young men from the streets, Demecho was left with a void
Entertainer. Model. Actor. Entrepreneur. Visionary. Overcomer
As a teen Demecho attended several performing arts schools where he took a interests in acting. Little did he know that he would soon receive the Best Actor award at competition, becoming the first to do so in the school's nearly 100 years existence.
Later on Demecho explains "I felt like it was between work and school And at the time, class wasn't paying bills, so I left I hate it had to come to that, but a man has to do what he has to do."
Soon after Demecho's beloved grandmother passed away. This was a hard blow for Demecho as he looked up to his grandmother as a mentor and mother figure
"You gotta understand, it was me, my momma, my lil brother, and Big Momma so she was like Momma to me."

"THE STREETS MADE ME, MY MOMMA RAISED ME, BUT GOD SAVED ME!"

DAVIS
Demecho recalls that being a time of depression for him but adding that "The streets numbed the pain and making money kept me focused " Shortly after Demecho found himself immersed in the music world After agreeing to go to New York with his cousin who was scouted by a independent artist record label, he headed to the NY.
"We were performing 3 to 4 shows a weekjust trying to make a name for ourselves in the Big Apple."
"Many nights we slept in the studio and most nights on the floor."
The hard work seemed to have paid off when the independent label locked in a deal with a major label but the excitement was short lived
"We worked so hard just to be given pennies Thank God I didn't sign a contract This was the early 2000's where major record labels were still taking advantage of new artists and giving them crazy deals with the short end of the stick," Demecho explains.
"We had to come home and get back to the basics; it was definitely a disappointment."
Overcoming adversity wasn't something that was new to Demecho and soon he would shake off the past.
Demecho credits his past as life shaping moments where he chose to stand rather than give up
Fast-forward, Demecho is now a performing artist again- performing though-out Atlanta & Charlotte (His home town.) He's recently been selected to perform in Los Angeles during the ICONIC BET Awards Weekend~ Celebrating 50 Years in HIP HOP!
Additionally he has since went back to school to further pursue his career in Acting and Modeling, graduating from the Historic John Casablancas school of Acting & Modeling.
Demecho has already ripped the runway in Atlanta for the Black Expo, during New York Fashion week, and currently prepares as he has been selected to walk the runway in Dubai this fall (All-Expenses paid)

Meet Meet JASHA
"Bethelove youwantto youwantto attract." attract."
Who is Jasha when PUT A RING ON IT filming stops?
I’m still the same small-town man with a world perspective outlook on life I try to stay grounded and balanced I’m a father, a family man, and a fiancée just out here trying to build a legacy of love and wealth behind me and see and experience all I can while I’m here
How do you balance your public persona with your private life, and what are some challenges you've faced in doing so?
I have always been a balanced person, having played professional baseball and learning how to handle pressure and the peaks and valleys of a long season.
The key is to stay grounded in who you are- don't let the highs get too high or the lows drag you down. My love for people drives my passion for reaching out and connecting, whether it's in person or online.
Top Life Lesson "Put A Ring On It" has taught you about yourself?
One of the most important lessons from "Put a Ring on It" is how to manage my ego and conquer fears of judgment and the things you can’t control Specifically, Dr Stacy's lesson of "being the love that you want to attract" sticks with me It applies not only to relationships but to life as well In order to attract abundance, you must already feel abundant There have been times in my life when I fell into a victim mindset rather than abundance, but since incorporating this lesson, my outlook has shifted dramatically
What's the Best relationship advice you would give to other men making a decision to "Put A Ring On It?"
You definitely want to know your partner well before proposing Take some time to truly understand her values, aspirations, and dreams; make sure they align with yours That’s how you'll build a solid foundation for a future together It's also important to have open and honest communication in any relationship So, make sure you talk about your future together, including expectations about careers, finances, kids, and lifestyle. And don't forget to do it with respect and understanding! It’s crucial that you both can freely express your thoughts and feelings without fear. You know that feelingwhen you just know! Trust your gut. If you can see yourself with her, then go for it!

"Bethelove
How did you get into the Real-Estate industry?
I got into real estate via a mentor of mine who is a large builder in Atlanta. I started out as an on-site agent working in a community selling new construction homes.
I worked with this company for three and a half years before moving over to Sotheby's International Realty where I formed the Balcom Group with Joya. We are a global real estate advisory team who serves clients anywhere in the world
How do you stay current with the local real estate market trends and what strategies do you use to market properties to potential buyers?
I pride myself on staying ahead of the curve in the world of real estate! Here's how:
First, I'm proud to be part of Sotheby's, the world's premier brokerage. We've got our pick of the best tools and research to support us, and I'm lucky to have a whole team backing me up!
Second, I'm a member of the Luxury Institute, a premium designation for real estate pros who aim to serve at the highest level. Here, I'm privy to invaluable tools and notifications that keep me on top of market trends.
Third, I read real estate publications and magazines to learn as much as possible about the industry Finally, I'm in constant communication with lenders about the markets, so that I'm always in the know! I use a couple of strategies to market properties effectively First, I identify market trends and figure out who exactly the target buyer is
At Sotheby's, sellers get maximum exposure - we can feature you in major luxury magazines like the Wall Street Journal and Forbes. And if that is not enough, I'm also skilled in digital marketing using various social media platforms like Google and Facebook to effectively advertise to potential buyers. For luxury properties, we create top-notch videos and the best photography that will entice buyers and attract attention to sellers' homes.

What attributes should home buyers look for when obtaining a professional realtor?
I would say when looking for a realtor, there are certain qualities to prioritize. Experience and local knowledge are critical, along with confidentiality and strong negotiation skills. You also want someone who makes the process enjoyable and takes the time to provide personal attention and excellent service. Remember, buying a home should be both fun and rewarding!
How can Men prepare for homeownership?
Top 3 Insider Tips
1 Start building your credit early on A good credit score will give you access to more financing options with favorable terms when it's time to buy a home
2 Save up for a down payment and closing costs Start saving as soon as possible – the more money you save, the better chance you have of being approved for a loan and getting the best rate possible.
3. Educate yourself on the current market conditions and local housing prices so that you understand what homes are worth in your area and how much house you can realistically afford.
By following these insider tips, I feel men can best prepare themselves for successful homeownership and enjoy all its benefits!
What are the TOP challenges that Black Men face in today's society as it pertains to effectively building generational wealth?
Some of the challenges are our mindset about abundance and wealth Letting go of the poverty mindset and switching to an abundance mindset can be hard; especially because of our past and some of our environments growing up. It’s gaining the right kind of knowledge to build wealth. Lack of Financial education has been a challenge. The information is out there but because it’s so much info out there people don’t know where to start.
How or What do you do to change that narrative?
I believe in order to change the narrative as black men we have got to stop competing with each other and start collaborating. We need to see ourselves as not being separate. Share our knowledge and resources as a group and start serving each other Abundantly speaking, there is more than enough for everyone to have more than enough in this world

How can Women specifically better support Black Men to achieve greatness? (Loaded question)
Just be in the divine feminine, be the peace he needs, be the support, and Always see the best version of what he will become in your heart and mind Love and make him feel honored. Use these magic words. You got this!!
What do you know now in business that you wish you would have known 5 years ago?
I wish I knew how to properly leverage business credit years ago. It's seriously a cheat code. If I'd known earlier, I'd be way further ahead in business today. It can be a struggle to get that capital exactly when you need to scale or launch a new idea, but leveraging business credit can help you get started faster.

Meet Jabari Taylor
CEO, AIRTIGHT MOVEMENT
We all have a turning point in life. What is the most impactful moment in your life thus far and How did it shape you to be the man you are today?
The most impactful moment is my living life, dealing with adversity, and trying to survive the current judicial policies and procedures specifically for Black males. Having served in our military and lived the experiences of coming home to a broken system set me on a path to create opportunities for other veterans and ex-felons like myself to rehabilitate from our past while seamlessly reintegrating back into society as leaders in our communities.
Success means different things for different people. What is your true definition of success and why?
Success is setting a goal, working toward a goal, and fulfilling it. It is accomplishing the mission that I have set for myself and my organization to ensure that the needs of the community, specifically the Black community, are no longer seen in a negative light.
Men carry a lot of hidden weight on their shoulders. What do you do to relieve stress so that you can show up as your BEST version for your business, and the people you love, and support every day?
Truthfully, it's about serving When I'm in a position to help others, I feel like I am helping them to shift their perspective of how they view themselves while changing the narrative of their storylines. It's in giving that I've learned to embrace receiving from others. It's the gift that keeps giving, and I find peace in serving others.
What's the Next BIG Thing for You? Upcoming Events, Programs/Books, or Any News-Worthy Events for You.
I'm super excited that my personal media coach, Dr. April J. Lisbon, and myself are co-authors in an academic publication in SpringerBriefs in Offending Populations and Correctional Psychotherapy I'm hoping that my lived experiences will bring reform to mass incarceration for Black males.

Overcoming Stage Fright as an Introverted Public Speaker
Shane Greaves is a public speaking coach specializing in helping introverted and nervous individuals, overcome stage fright. He is also the co-founder of a media production company and is a podcaster of The Introvert Dad, Extrovert Family Podcast. Shane is a preacher and pastor of Amazing Love Ministries, with over 15 years of experience in delivering powerful messages.
From a young age, I sensed that I had something special to share with the world, even though I couldn't quite grasp it. As I grew older, I realized that I harbored a deep desire to spread a message that could make the world a better place a message centered around the transformative power of love However, there was a significant obstacle in my path: my introversion. Even today, I consider myself an introvert, cherishing my quiet time and preferring less social activity. Nevertheless, I have come to accept that certain actions are necessary.
As an introvert, I faced challenges when it came to sharing my voice People often didn't listen or take me seriously, as they were drawn to the loudest voices in the room However, my experiences at church played a crucial role in developing my speaking skills. In our congregation, every member was given the opportunity to deliver a message to the church body. It was through these experiences that I quickly learned what it took to effectively communicate from behind the pulpit or microphone.
Acquiring these skills provided me with a platform to share the message burning within me Now, as I have grown older, I firmly believe that every individual possesses the ability to unleash the message buried deep within them. I am convinced that, despite stage fright, fear, or uncertainty, anyone can step up to a microphone, pulpit, or stage and deliver the message that God has entrusted to them.
While there are undoubtedly skills that can be learned to facilitate this process, the most crucial element is recognizing the significance of the message within you I want to inspire and encourage everyone who hears my voice to acknowledge that they possess a message worth sharing and that they are fully capable of doing so. Whether it is speaking in front of colleagues at work or addressing a larger audience, remember this: if I can do it, so can you.
Embracing your role as a public speaker can be a transformative journey It is an opportunity to connect with others, influence lives, and make a lasting impact I urge you to believe in the power of your words and the potential they hold to inspire, motivate, and change the world. I stand before you as living proof that introverts can become confident public speakers. I have overcome the barriers of introversion and stage fright, allowing me to fulfill my purpose of sharing a powerful message. I encourage you to embrace your unique voice and find the courage to step onto the stage You have a message worth sharing, and the world is waiting to hear it Remember, if I can do it, so can you

The Concept of Manhood The Concept of Manhood
Over these past couple of days, I have been thinking about manhood and what that is The first man in my life was my father and by default, he was the first impression, my first example. While he was not a perfect example, I will forever be grateful for him. We have all been taught what being a man is, which begins with our fathers. Intentionally or unintentionally, they are our first examples.
Good or bad those first impressions mattered They became the foundation of our concept of manhood. As I look back, I realize that much of who I am today is because of my father. Decisions he made, friendships he had, his work, and how he related with my mother and siblings. Even after ten years of marriage and numerous other impressions, male, and female, it is clear the impact he has had on my life. One of the best things my father showed me was that, as a man it is okay to get help Where there was a lack or weakness in him, he did his best, sometimes that included getting help
Today as men are challenged and tested, we have frozen under the pressure of making a mistake; folded in discouragement after not performing as desired; made wrong decisions in weakness, fear, and based on bad information. We have all d it. A long time ago before I met my wife, I remember hearing those words over phone "My period is late, I might be pregnant " As fear gripped my heart a struggled to breathe a suitable response knowing I was so far from being ready t a dad More than that, I realized that just one moment of weakness, with a girl I did wish to be in a long-term relationship with, was about to shake up my entire world
What did I do? I got help.
As men, when we miss the mark and mess things up, we need not see ourselve failures While we acknowledge our lack or weakness, we must display our stren by making the wise choice to seek out and accept help. Not only for ourselves bu the ones we love. We must put in the work to uproot those unhealthy ha emotions, and thought patterns.
Yes, we may have been impacted by bad examples but no matter the examples, g bad, or in between; no matter how deeply rooted in our minds the hurt and pain be, we need to take responsibility for who we are For us and those who look to First impressions matter, but we can make a life-changing decision to leav purposeful, lasting impression.
Happy Father's Day!!!

CEO, BIG HONEY VISION
We all have a turning point in life. What is the most impactful moment in your life thus far and How did it shape you to be the man you are today?
First was my mother passing in 2019, it shook me up in just the realization that she was no longer here to talk to me My mother had a way of making the things that most people treated as a big deal very small. So I knew I would miss that strength and force. It took a minute to focus after her death. The second thing was Covid 19 and its global impact. Just watching how powerless and unprepared we were. It was a wake-up call to us all but personally, I knew it was time.
Success means different things for different people. What is your true definition of success and why?
Success means you are financially free. Success means you're doing well enough to protect your peace. Protecting my peace is the most important thing to me, along with being accepted and respected for your craft and contribution. Respect! I'm gonna be known as one of those guys. God Told Me!
Men carry a lot of hidden weight on their shoulders. What do you do to relieve stress so that you can show up as your BEST version for your business, and the people you love, and support every day?
You gotta know how to self-soothe Laughter nah Jean would be tight Well, you gotta be able to be alone Talk to God and wait on his answer. I try not to let things move too fast. The world is at super speed now. I told folks my books will slow y’all down. I take long baths sometimes for hours at a time. I just relax in there thinking and sleeping, that time belongs to me and me alone. Self-soothing always works too.
What's the Next BIG Thing for You? Upcoming Events, Programs/Books, or Any News-Worthy Events for You.
