Senior School students (Y7-12) enjoy the opportunity to compete in the Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) competition. Each term, students are required to select a sport or activity of their choice that includes either an interschool competitive option through the GSV competition or an internal recreational activity.
Students have the opportunity to trial for these sports towards the end of the previous term. Every effort is made to give each student the opportunity to participate in their chosen sport, however, some sports do have a capped quota. Weekly sport is a great opportunity to try many sports across the year in an interschool competition.
Girls make a commitment to their weekly sport by attending one weekly training and match per week. Training is typically 7:00 – 8:00am before school.
All weekly sport matches are played on weeknights after school between 4:00 – 6:00pm with alternating home and away fixtures. For away fixtures, students travel by bus to and from the venue and are accompanied by their coach.
