RIICCI DEDOLA

BIOGRAPHIES

(DIANE) - As an actor Ricci has performed at the Mendocino Theatre Company several times in the twelve years since she moved here. Her first role was Lettice in Lettice and Lovage. Then came Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate, followed by Cassandra in Vanya, Masha, Sonia and Spike and Mary Wooley in Bull in a China Shop. In 2019 she directed and played one of the three roles in William Shakespeares Long Lost first Play (abridged), with a broken foot. The show must go on as they say. Her last performance at MTC was in The Moors as the Moor Hen. She is a member of the traveling group that put on the Mendocino Museum County Road Show. Before finding her way to the Northern California coast Ricci played some great roles down south. Her favorites include. Lady Vanity in Measure for Pleasure, Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Hermia in A Midsummer Nights Dream. She's has been at the Acting game a long time. But also finds herself in the Directors chair quite often. Her latest turn was Visiting Mr. Green right here at MTC only a couple years ago. Ricci lives on Ricci's Art Farm here in Mendocino, the farms motto is "Love Grows Here." She is so pleased to be back on the stage to perform for you folks as you are one of her very favorite audiences.

PAMELA ALLEN (CAROLE FLEISHCHER)

Pamela was last seen on the Mendocino Theatre Company stage as Hazel in Lucy Kirkwood's The Children . Other favorite roles for MTC include: Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; Bella in Gaslight ; Nell/Lady Davenant/ Maria in Or,; Becky in Becky's New Car; Hanna in Ideation; and Nora in A Doll's House, Part 2. During the pandemic, she conceived and produced MTC's One-Minute Radio Theatre, as well as a series of one-hour radio readings, and the online virtual fundraiser The Long Intermission. A passionate knitter and designer, she spends much of her free time tangled in luxurious yarn.

NIKI TRABER (PAM ANNUNCIATA) -

A veteran on the The Mendocino Theatre Company stage, Niki was last seen as Ariel in William Shakespeare's Long Lost Play. She has also appeared as Aphra Behn in Or,,Antonia in They Won't Pay? We Won't Pay!, Felicity in Bull in a China Shop, and Claire in Rumors. Niki is excited to be working with this great cast and crew on such a challenging play.

TERILYNN L. EPPERSON (RENEE SHAPIRO-EPPS)

- Terilynn is very excited to celebrate her 12th year on the Mendocino Theatre Company stage. Her MTC credits include Lettice and Lovage, Doubt: A Parable, In the Next Room (or The Vibrator Play), Circle Mirror Transformation, Rumors, They Don't Pay? We Won't Pay!, and In a Word. Terilynn has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television with a writing/directing emphasis from the Colorado Film School at University of Colorado Denver. When she isn't on stage, Terilynn enjoys learning to play the guitar, creating Zentangles, and working as a Program Manager at the non-profit, Parents and Friends, Inc. Terilynn wants to give a special blessing to her daughter, Avery, as she enters her first year at UCLA. "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. MARK FRIEDRICH (STAGE MANAGER)

BRYN GLASSEY (BETH WANN)

- Bryn grew up dancing in the LA and Reno area receiving instruction in a variety of genres including jazz, hip hop, tap and ballet. She spent her summers attending musical theatre camps gaining experience in drama, music and dance. As a speech and language pathologist she has been working with children from birth to 18 years of age with a variety of learning styles and special needs. She enjoys working with children and their families using various strategies including creative movement, music, and role playing to develop self expression, verbal and nonverbal communication skills, social-emotional skills/ aware-ness, self-advocacy and empowerment. Her most recent shows include Home, I'm Darling, Ripcord and A Thousand Clowns.

- Mark is usually seen on the "other side of the lights", Mark is excited to take on the new challenge of stage managing. Mark was last seen on stage here in a variety of roles in Ripcord. Other roles include The Mastiff in The Moors, Ted in Ideation, Ken Gorman in Rumors, George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, David Crampton in Mornings at Seven, Doctor Royer-Collard in Quills, Mickey Marcus in The Normal Heart, Lawrence Garfinkle in Other People's Money and Harry Brock in Born Yesterday. A graduate in Theatre Arts from the University Of New Orleans, Mark worked and performed in Sonoma County theatre for almost 20 years before relocating to the Mendocino coast. A was founding member of both The Raven Players and Actors Group Playhouse where he also served as Artistic Director. Mark also currently serves as one of the Artistic Directors for the Mendocino Theatre Company.

DIANE LARSON (SET DESIGNER) - Diane has designed sets and costumes for local opera and stage productions since the early 1990's. She has a B.A. from U.C Berkeley in painting and studied fashion illustration at Chouinard's Art Institute. She has served as a board member for the Mendocino Music Festival, and for Gloriana Musical Theatre Company, and co-founded with Geogia Lucas the Performing Arts Production Alliance (PAPA) for companies to share the cost of storage and use of theatrical sets and costumes. Her first experience as a set designer was with Mendocino Theatre Company's production of Uncle Vanya. Other MTC productions include Of Mice and Men, Lend Me a Tenor, Sylvia, A Perfect Ganesh, Copenhagen, Quartet, 1959 Pink Thunderbird, Trying, Trip to Bountiful, Doubt, and Master Class. A few favorites for other companies include Lonely Planet, Dream of a Common Language, Hamlet for Warehouse Repertory Theater Co.; Rent, Next to Normal, Company and Peter Pan for Glorana Musical theatre; and the operas Carmen, Tosca, The Magic Flute, Die Fleddermaus, Don Giovanni, and Madama Butterfly for Mendocino Music Festival and Opera Fresca. This season I have enjoyed mentoring two possible future designers for MTC. Byron Greene and H Gealey. I have had the pleasure of working with H Gealey, a recent graduate in Architecture and a tremendous talent as we created the set for Hurricaine Diane!

MORGANNE TREE NEWSON (COSTUME DESIGNER) - Morganne is a Costume Designer for film, TV & theatre. Based in Toronto during the burgeoning "Golden Age" of cinema & theater & Always eager for the most creative project, Morganne evolved from fashion design to costume design. Morganne is happy to have been given the opportunity to design costumes & style wardrobe for a vast variety of productions including stylized & verity drama, ice skating, circus, dance, comedy, & periods from ancient prehistory to 2040. She has created unique "looks" for Beyonce, Eartha Kit, Priscilla Presley, Catherine OHara, Brittany Spears, Usher, Burt Lancaster, Ted Danson, James Caan and many others. It is her mission to contribute carefully curated costume choices for each production to inspire the actors as they morph into their characters. KEN KRAUSS (SOUND DESIGNER)

- Ken has worked on numerous productions for Mendocino Theater Company, beginning with the role of Al Paradisio in the 2003 production of Warren Leight's Sideman, and continuing through roles in 2015's Mauritius, and 2018's Rumors. He moved behind the scenes as Sound Designer for productions of The Miracle Worker, The Tempest, The Laramie Project, Tuesdays With Morrie, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Paradise, The Children, .and many others. Ken also has performed in MTC's reader's theater productions. He has worked as production engineer for MTC's "Readings on the Radio" and "One Minute Radio Theater" for KZYX public radio broadcasts. Since 2010 Ken has performed with the Mendocino's improv comedy ensemble Hit and Run Theater, and will be with them for shows coming up November 8th and 9th at Caspar Community Center. He is a voice artist and narrator, working on commercials, audiobooks, and web videos. He was a voice artist and segment producer for five years on the locally produced podcast SnapSessions!, available at www.thesnapsessions.com. Ken enjoys photography, music, films, his wife Bessy and his cockatiel Gimpy.

STEVE GREENWOOD (LIGHT DESIGN)

Steve is a photographer, writer and stagehand living in Mendocino, and is a former Technical Director of the Mendocino Theatre Company. Starting in 2001 as sound operator (on two hours notice) for The Beauty Queen of Leenane at MTC, he has worked in many capacities for theater companies here on the coast including Glorianna, Opera Fresca, the Mendocino Music Festival, the Mendocino Film Festival and the Mendocino Chamber Opera. He also worked trade shows for many years in San Francisco, Boston and New York city. Typecast from the beginning, Steve started acting at the age of eight, playing the Mad March Hare in a production of Alice in Wonderland. It's great to be working again with the Design Team of Diane Larson, Ken Krauss and Master Carpenter Jim Gibson and to welcome new Designer H. Gealey and new Tech Director Rob Somerton.

KAY SMITH (ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER/BOARD OPERATOR)

- Kay enjoys theatre both onstage and backstage and has been a part of many shows over the years with MTC, Gloriana Opera Co, Theater in the Mountains (Los Gatos), Mountain Community Theater (Ben Lomond), and various other local productions. They have a little training in acting, singing, and dancing from their college days and have been in more college dance recitals than they care to remember. Some lifetime highlights include dancing with the Blau Rhino Dance Company in Massachusetts, performing as Peter in San Francisco Grace Cathedral's charity production of Jesus Christ Superstar, producing Theatre in the Mountain's Willy Wonka and being paint master for several of their other shows, and a walk on bit part in Morioka Minami High School's Theatre Club show where they got to try their tongue at a Japanese Kyushuu dialect. Now back in Fort Bragg to stay, Kay hopes this is the first of many times they can be a part of an MTC production.
