OUR VENUE Memorytown is a historic country inn with two fully restored barns.

With beautiful event grounds, a tranquil lake, fountain, apple orchard, and indoor or outdoor ceremony areas, you will find that perfect backdrop for all your wedding photos. Host your rehearsal dinner at our award winning restaurant, The Water’s Edge where our culinary experts will give you a taste of what you can enjoy at your event. We also offer country cabins for guests and on and off-site amenties.

We are an all inclusive rustic event venue where we do our best to make your life simple and your experience memorable. Gone are the days where you need to outsource everything; we do it all for you.

We are full service venue, providing all catering, staffing, linens, tables, chairs and more.

From your ceremony, to your reception, you will have a professional team to ensure everything flows smoothly during your big event. The beauty of our location is that everything is within walking distance, making it easy for all your guests to find there way around the property.

We have a list of preferred vendors to help you find what fits your style; just tell us what you need and we will help you make it happen!

SOME FACTS ABOUT OUR VENUE THE HERITAGE BARN The Heritage is the largest of our barns where we can accommodate up to 200 guests. The high ceilings boast beautiful chandeliers with Edison lighting that makes the barn sparkle. The Vintage’s Wine Cellar is the first floor of the Hertiage, where your cocktail hour will take place. Designed with bourbon barrel glass tables, your guests will be able to sit and enjoy both passed and tabled hors ‘dourves.

THE ORCHARD BARN The Orchard offers rustic charm all on its own. This barn accommodates up to 80 guests and up to 100 without a dance floor. The Apple Orchard awaits your beautiful ceremony from Spring to Fall. You can choose to have your ceremony on the lawn of the Orchard or nestled by the big tree. These are both beautiful locations to exchange vows. Cocktail hour is held semi-outdoors in our covered area attached to the Orchard barn.

THE LAKESIDE TENT For larger events, we offer a spacious and beautiful tent located on property. This option is by request only at an additional cost.

Your Studio FREQUENTLY ASKED

What am I responsible for upon at Memorytown? Included with your Memorytown contract are the venue, tables, chairs, linens, centerpiece, catering, alcohol, staff, set up and ceremony location. Any custom decor or professional lighting decor is the responsibility of the client.

What is included in the rental price? Clients choose what is included based on options offered by Memorytown. We are happy to create a unique wedding plan with you in mind!

What is your cancellation policy? At time of cancellation, there is no refund of payments or deposits.

How do I book a date? A deposit of $1,000 secures a date. Fifty percent of the balance is financed in monthly payments (interest free); the final balance is due three weeks prior to the event.

What kind of tables and chairs are offered? The Orchard Barn had 8’ farm tables and The Heritage Barn has a mix of 8’ farm tables and 60” round tables. Ivory linens are also included in the contract. Color upgrades are available.

How long is the rental on the day of the event? Event timing is outlined in your purchase order supplied by Memorytown. Barn will be open at 9:00am for personal decorating.

Are there any restrictions on vendors I can use? We pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating; you may use the vendors of your choice or choose from the list of great recommendations we provide you.

Where would the ceremony happen? Do you have an outdoor space? Memorytown offers several beautiful locations to celebrate your vows with family and friends. Memorytown offers outdoor locations to for ceremonies, events and celebrations of all kinds.

Do I need to hire an event planner or coordinator? A ceremony assistant is included with your Memorytown contract. This assistant will guide you through rehearsal and day of ceremony. They will guide your guest through ceremony and direct them to the cocktail hour. Additional event planner may be recommended based on your needs. At Memorytown, a manager will be on site during your event to answer any questions, provide general assistance and oversee the buildings and our staff, but will not coordinate your event.

Memorytown provides additional day of coordination services and would be happy to discuss the options to best suite your needs.

Who is responsible for clean up? Clients are responsible for displaying and cleaning up their custom decorations.

Are candles permitted? No fire of any kind is permitted, We have a no fire, flame policy.

Is there a dressing area on site? A bridal salon is available to our brides and bridal party.

Do I need to provide my own insurance? Yes, we require the purchase of event insurance. It is recommended that you inquire that coverage include cancellation, outside vendors, etc.

Where do guests park? Plenty of parking is offered at Memorytown. All parking is in walking distance to each venue space.

Do the buildings have heat and air conditioning? Yes, all of our venues are heated and air conditioned.

Is smoking permitted? Yes, smoking is permitted in our outdoor designated locations. No indoor smoking permitted in any guest accommodations, barns or restaurant.

Is the building wheelchair accessible? Yes, we are handicapped accessible.

Are there indoor restrooms? Yes, we offer indoor restrooms in all of our locations.
