Chairs Pam &DennisVerner invite you to
Canyon Country Community Center NOVEMBER 21, 2025

This year’s Festival Chairs, Pamela and Dennis Verner, have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for more than 35 years and are honored to give back to the community. Their involvement with the Club includes three years of chairing the annual Auction. Pamela serves on the Club’s governing board and owns SCV Commercial Real Estate Services, while Dennis serves on several local boards, including the Club’s Advisory Board, and is the Municipal Manager at Burrtec Waste Industries.
“We are thrilled to chair this year’s Festival of Trees and to celebrate the spirit that brings people together,” said Pamela Verner. “Every tree, wreath, and gingerbread house represents the support that helps local kids grow, learn, and thrive. We can’t wait to welcome families and friends to share in the holiday magic while making a real difference for the Boys & Girls Club.”
“It’s an honor to bring the community together for this festive tradition,” said Dennis Verner. “Festival of Trees is a wonderful way to support the next generation while celebrating the joy and magic of the season.” Benefit Auction For BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF SANTA CLARITA VALLEY

2
All bidding in the Live Auction requires a Bid Number. Your personal Bid Number is located on the Bid Card you receive at registration and should be treated as cash. Your Bid Card will be linked to the credit card you provide at check-in.
3 During the Live Auction, when you want to bid on an item, raise your Bid Card to attract the attention of the auctioneer. If you win an item, please remain in your seat and hold your Bid Card for the auctioneer to see. A runner will come to you with a receipt to verify your purchase price. 1 • Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be redeemed by November 21st, 2026. Unless otherwise specified or stated by the donor, items are transferable from the winner to another person. Services are restricted to the Santa Clarita Valley unless specified otherwise.

3
• For our guests’ protection, the Boys & Girls Club recommends that winning bidders of trips purchase trip cancellation insurance to protect their investments. The Club cannot refund monies for trips that the buyer must cancel due to illness or other personal emergencies. Since 1968, Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley has been a trusted source of hope and opportunity for youth in our community. As a chartered member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America—an organization with 5,200 Clubs serving 3.3 million youth nationwide—our local Club is dedicated to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, and responsible citizens.
Each year, the Club’s programs, services, and outreach positively impact over 5,000 children and teens. With thirteen Club locations in neighborhoods across Santa Clarita Valley—including Castaic, Canyon Country, Val Verde, and Newhall—we provide safe, supportive spaces where youth can learn, grow, and lead.
Our members participate in dynamic programs across six core areas: Education, Character & Leadership, The Arts, Health & Wellness, Workforce Readiness, and Sports & Recreation. From homework help and service

projects to sports leagues and creative expression, the Club offers youth meaningful opportunities to discover their strengths and build confidence.
Despite our growing reach and measurable impact, the Club remains accessible to all. Annual membership is just $60 for the first child, and $45 for each additional child in a household. To make this possible, the Club relies on private and corporate donations, grants, community partnerships, and special events like the Auction, Great Futures Breakfast, and Festival of Trees.
Guided by an active and dedicated Board of Directors, operated by professional Youth Development staff, and supported by dozens of volunteers, the Boys & Girls Club continues to be a beacon of opportunity in Santa Clarita.
Thank you for standing with us—and helping provide a second home, brighter futures, and lasting impact for the young people of our valley.

We honor the memory of Myrna Condie, a visionary whose generosity, creativity, and unwavering commitment forever shaped the Santa Clarita Valley and the Boys & Girls Club. Myrna was the heart and originator of Festival of Trees, a cherished community tradition that has brought wonder, joy, and hope to thousands of children and families.
Through her imagination and leadership, Festival of Trees became far more than a holiday event — it became a symbol of community spirit and a lifeline of support for the Boys & Girls Club. Her legacy lives on in every beautifully lit tree, every smiling child, and every life changed because of the funds and awareness her work helped raise.
Myrna’s passion for giving, her belief in the potential of young people, and her dedication to making Santa Clarita a better place will continue to inspire us for generations. We are profoundly grateful for the many gifts she shared with our community, and we will carry her legacy forward with pride and love.
Thank you, Myrna, for the magic you brought to our valley and for the lasting light you leave behind.

Linee, a self-taught designer, eagerly anticipates the Festival each year as her ultimate creative outlet. Celebrating her 22nd year, she continues to passionately design and decorate tabletop trees, making a lasting mark on this cherished event.

For the past seven years, Kathy has been a dedicated volunteer with the SCV Boys & Girls Club. Her involvement began in 2019, when she decorated a tree for the annual Festival of Trees, a tradition she has continued every year since. Over the past four years, she also brought her creative vision to the Club’s summer auction, designing imaginative stage backdrops, table centerpieces, and entrance displays with themes ranging from outer space to Mardi Gras. In the past two years, she further contributed her talents by designing centerpieces for the Club’s Great Futures Breakfast.

She co-chaired Bras for a Cause, served on the Circle of Hope board, chaired its annual Afternoon Tea, and decorated countless tea tables. Her passion for service has taken her abroad on four mission trips to Nicaragua, where she helped build homes for families in need through Project Chacocente. She also granted wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and participated in numerous charitable organizations over the years.
In addition to her extensive volunteer work, Kathy is the owner of Oh So Pretty Vintage Rentals, a local event design and rental company specializing in creating unique celebrations. For Nichole, nothing captures the magic of the holidays quite like a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. What began as a personal tradition of making her own tree the centerpiece of her home has blossomed into a heartfelt mission to share the joy of Christmas cheer with others. Her favorite part? Seeing faces light up as brightly as the tree itself once her decorating is complete.
She’s grateful to once again join forces with so many talented designers for this year’s Festival of Trees.
Through her creations, Nichole hopes to spark smiles, inspire togetherness, and spread the magic of the season to every home she touches. Follow her festive journey and discover the joy of Christmas decorating with @NorthPoleWithNichole!

Dana has recently made Santa Clarita her permanent home after seven years of enjoying time in the valley. This year marks Tisha Poole’s debut as a Christmas tree designer for the Festival of Trees—a tradition she has admired for nearly ten years, ever since first attending when her daughter, Sasha, performed during the community showing. Tisha began volunteering about five years ago alongside her dear friend, Krisi Dervin, and her involvement and love for the event have grown each year.
In the past, Tisha had the opportunity to assist a talented friend who is an accomplished Christmas tree designer, sparking her passion for festive and heartfelt holiday design. She also served as event coordinator and chairperson for Legacy Christian Academy’s annual gala for eight years,

where she discovered how much she enjoys blending creativity with purposeful event planning and fundraising for a meaningful cause.
Service is important to Tisha and her family. She, her husband and their daughter volunteered with Club Dust in Tecate, Mexico, helping build homes for families in severe need — an experience that deeply impacted them.
Christmas decorating is a treasured tradition in Tisha’s home, and her family joins her each year in designing their own Christmas tree. She has been happily married to her husband, David, for 21 years, is the proud mother of three beautiful children, and her heart is full as a new grandmother to her 1½-month-old grandson. Tisha is honored to share her joy and creativity with the Festival of Trees this season.

A better way to give ... a larger gift, and ... a larger possible tax savings!
Great news! Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley accepts securities donations. Make a bigger impact by donating longterm appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to The Club. This is in comparison to donating cash (after tax wages) or selling your appreciated securities and then contributing the after-tax proceeds. This especially makes sense if you are taking the standard deduction (vs. itemizing your deduction). You can avoid a 15%-20% capital gain tax and instantly increase your tax savings which may allow you to increase your overall donation. It’s simple and easy, ask us how! Securities donations may be used to purchase auction items.
