In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. A woman rebels against a tyrannical ruler in search for her homeland with the aid of a group of female prisoners, a psychotic worshiper, and a drifter named Max.

The cinematography in the movie Mad Max: Fury Road provides inspiration for a modern industrial bathroom. The fleet of cars in the film translates to an all metal interior using materials such as steel, chrome, and brass. Exposed plumbing fixtures lends to the industrial style. As in the movie, the element of fire is incorporated to add contrast and variety.

The intent of this memorial is to commemorate the passing of pets and serves as a bridge between grief and moving forward. When a beloved pet passes, grief can be all consuming and leave you feeling lost and empty. This space is meant to represent that void while also bringing a sense of peace and tranquility. Entering through the courtyard is a physical metaphor for crossing the bridge from loss and total grief to starting to move forward. The exterior space is meant to evoke a purifying and enhancing energy leaving one renewed and uplifted.

The incredibly unique design of this sconce takes inspiration from a pearl, sling-shaped pendant necklace. The teardrop silhouette is crafted from antique brass iron that showcases an opal glass globe, which sits in the frame. A matching glass and antique brass iron backplate with an opal glass accent creates cohesiveness throughout. Consider multiples for a more dramatic lightscape. Damp-rated, although limited covered outdoor areas
