Meridian Maycroft Arts Centre I have included my poem, ”Peter’s Dilemma” with my monthly report because it expresses my feelings upon Lynn’s offer of the challenging post to help her establish the Meridian Maycroft Arts Centre. It was to emphasise my acceptance of deciding for a sensible reason and to ensure that my studio collection of artworks and valuable reference books can continue to be useful after I have gone. The offer was so ridiculously challenging I had to accept. I have watched Room One develop and change from its These pages and page 8: beginning to acquire an interesting Peter in Room One atmosphere which pleased me and Photographs by Lynn Ward, hopefully which will please my Manager of Maycroft Care Home fellow residents when I try to help them there. We began on Tuesday 16th February, although Lynn and l had been planning a selection of paintings and other essentials for several weeks. Every session will involve some aspect of practical work. I hope to have a few surprises for those with me and will enjoy wandering along a beach in my imagination and selecting a few pebbles to make a rock arrangement. 6
