Meldreth Matters magazine is run and produced entirely by volunteers. As the magazine is delivered free of charge, we are entirely reliant on advertising income to cover our printing costs and we are grateful to all our advertisers for their support. Over the past two years, the pandemic has had a detrimental impact on many businesses and as a result, we have lost over two pages of advertising in Meldreth Matters, resulting in a significant reduction in our income. Over the same period, our costs have increased: we now have more magazines than ever printed due to the growth of the village and printing charges have also risen. If you own or know of a local business that may be interested in supporting us by advertising in Meldreth Matters, please get in touch. Meldreth Matters is delivered to almost 900 homes and businesses in Meldreth and is available in colour online. Our advertising rates have remained the same since for over ten years and are shown on page 48 of this issue. If you live in Meldreth and run a business from home, we are offering you the opportunity to have a one-off advertising feature in the magazine at a special rate. Advertising features give you a full or half page to tell our readers about your business and can include text and images. The cost of a full page is £25 and a half page, £15.
