Get up close to twelve Spitfires all housed under one roof - the largest collection ever brought together at Duxford. This exhibition celebrates an historic plane which became a British icon after its heroic exploits in the 1940 Battle of Britain. Normal museum admission prices apply. The National Trust’s oldest nature reserve has a fantastic selection of species to look out for during winter including flocks of wigeon, redwings and fieldfares and - if you’re lucky - a hen harrier or shorteared owl gliding over the fen at dusk.
