A collection of objects for the home that celebrate the marriage of materiality and process, craft and purpose, form and function. Make Use highlights the raw honesty, simple straight forwardness, and beauty in utility associated with West Coast Craftsmanship.

PATCHWORK PILLOWS COTTON & FLAX Mirroring classic patchwork quilt designs, these pillows are designed to utilize the scraps and remnants left behind. Once assembled, these pieces combine to form soft and sturdy pillow designs.

ARCH MIRROR MATERIALS + PROCESS The softness of natural leather combined and layered into a rigid geometric frame highlights a connection with time and sense of self reflection.

INA BOX BACD STUDIO Formed from blocks of solid hardwood, these boxes reduce a functional vessel to its purest geometric form. Appearing as a solid cylinder when closed, the interior reveals unique grain patterns and hidden treasures within the internal voids.

WEDGE WEIGHT FRUITSUPER A placeholder, a paper weight, and a desktop sculpture that combines the substantial weight of brass with a simple and intuitive shape. As the polished brass ages with time, it becomes as personal and endearing as your favorite well-read book.

UNION TABLE TRETIAK WORKS The visual and material weight of the solid walnut tabletop highlights the strength and beauty of the seamlessly integrated linear brass legs. A table in its purest form, highlighting beauty and honesty.

ATTUNE LAMP REJUVENATION DESIGN TEAM Utilizing existing raw brass components, this sculptural lamp finds kinetic balance in posture and position. Unfinished parts will patina with age and use, while the contrasting polished shade interior reflects ample light.

BRUSHES PIGEON TOE CERAMICS This collection of utilitarian brushes represent a patience in pursuit of beauty and a marriage of function to form. Balancing soft and rigid, geometric and curvilinear while celebrating a variety of daily functions.

BIRDFEEDER MELANIE ABRANTES DESIGNS Hand-turned charcoal cork forms a pleasing and symmetric hanging birdfeeder that perfectly utilizes a lightweight yet sturdy material, to create an elegant and functional outdoor object.

TRAY FIN Historically made of Silver, ornately decorated, and rarely used—this modern take on a traditional serving tray borrows visual elements while adding function. Simple, elegant and graceful, this Tray has been adapted for everyday use.

GLOBE PENDANTS FOLK A celebration of raw material, light and character. Hand-blown, each pendant highlights its unique shape as light passes through and balances the weight of sand cast aluminum center.

BASE PLANTERS FIREROAD These planters balance the stability of materiality with the fragility of nature. Combining organic and geometric shapes to elevate the presentation of plants.

MAILBOX ALICE TACHENY The mailbox is an essential yet often overlooked home accessory. This design, composed of a polished copper casing with a sliding solid Ash box is both utilitarian and sculptural. An object to keep weather out and mail in, that will richly patina over time.

BOOKSHELF SILVIA SONG A single tree trunk, reduced in form to create a connection between function and material. A profile designed to house books, a by-product from which the tree began.

TOTEM CANDLES FLEET OBJECTS Designed to celebrate the natural, warm, and translucent glow of candlelight through porcelain, these stackable candles create undulating soft and geometric totems.
