Haltered, Triangle 5 vaccinated and treated with Ivomectin in September.

Pasture exposed to Merit Synergy 3038L from April 17 - July 1, 2025; due to calve in January 2026. Will be preg checked prior to the sale.

TOP OF THE HILL NIKKI 2N

Top of the Hill Farm is offering a big-bodied calf sired by HLC 101 Cross Fire 569C—a bull we stumbled across and have been excited about ever since. Every calf he’s sired has impressed us right from birth. 2N brings extra frame for those who appreciate larger Angus cattle. She’s a structurally sound, wellbalanced female with the qualities of a top maternal prospect and shows strong potential as a brood cow. Her pedigree includes standout names like Remitall F Odyssey 67X and Krone Royal 1140, giving her both style and longevity. Her dam continues to produce year after year, consistently delivering high-quality calves whether you’re aiming for the show ring or building a reliable cow herd. If you’re looking for a female backed by proven genetics, performance, and eye appeal, 2N checks all the boxes. She combines size, structure, and maternal value in a complete, exciting package.

CONSIGNED BY :: TOP OF THE HILL FARM

Top of the Hill Farm is excited to offer another outstanding daughter of HLC 101 Cross Fire 569C, as we couldn’t decide which one we liked more! 8N is a standout heifer, showcasing the kind of natural muscling you’d desire in any breed. Everyone who walks into the barn notices this calf — and we’re confident you will too. Her dam is sired by Insight, and if you’re familiar with Insight daughters, you’ll understand why we speak so highly of them. It’s been a pleasure watching these calves develop, and we’re incredibly proud of how far they’ve come. Don’t get caught up in the “Crossfire” and miss your chance to bring home this exceptional female!

Nova 24N is thick, wide topped fancy eye appealing female you will like to own. She has lots of capacity, spring of rib and is a sound, structured female. Nova has a quiet disposition, halter broke and ready for a junior member to show next summer in 4-H. She is the first progeny I have sold from Wheatley River Gwen 11G line of breeding. The females make great mother cows with lots of milk and fertility. I have no doubt she will make a great addition to your herd. Nova has been vaccinated with Bova Shield and treated with Ivomec.

The Joyride x Bolder matings have seemed to click for us since purchasing this calf’s young dam from O’Shea Farms in Ontario several years ago. We have retained two full siblings to this calf - one female that made an appearance at the Royal for Gabrielle and has developed into a beautifully uddered, fleshy 2 year old, as well as a young bull that we campaigned last summer and has since went on to become a herd sire.

Another Bolder heifer calf, a common theme at our place over the last couple of years. We calved out our first group of Bolder two year olds this winter and watching them develop into young cows since has been exciting. Beautifully uddered, moderately framed, maternal females that seem to have things figured out when it comes to raising calves.

The Yedda cow family from our friends at Burnside Herefords needs no introduction. I had the opportunity to purchase some females out of this family several years ago which have since become foundation cows in my herd. Maternity and milk run strong here.

The Anna family has long been a farm favorite, they’re large, stylish cows who do their job while maintaining their condition. 3N is no different. She’s an up headed, clean necked calf, that moves like a dream, with all the makings of a good cow. She weaned off as one of the largest in her group, and she was shown in 4-H throughout the summer, and was as broke as can be. Anna makes an excellent prospect for CJHA members who would like to show at Bonanza next year in Richmond, QC. CONSIGNED BY

If you’re looking for a fresh heifer that combines horned genetics in a polled package, Nova is the one. She carries style and eye appeal today, with the kind of structure and balance that will carry through as she matures into a functional, no-nonsense cow.

Juniors pay attention to this stylish heifer! She’s show broke and ready for Bonanza 2026 in Quebec. She will continue to be showcased throughout the fall at a few select shows and she has already had lots of success at a past show this summer. Her sire, Bolt, has a tremendous EPD profile and ranks in the top 10% of multiple categories. He goes back to “R Leader” who is known to be a top female producer especially ones that are heavy milkers. Nova is a carbon copy of her dam who is one of the deepest and cleanest uddered females on the farm. This is the first female I have ever parted with but they say to sell your good ones and this one is no exception, don’t miss out on this opportunity!

The heifer is located at Green Grove Shorthorns but is bred and owned by one of our 4-H members, Zoey Rafuse. Zoey used her as a 4-H project this year and she was in our 2025 showstring.
