SHORT STATEMENT
This portfolio shows the versatility of my work and how I approach the different aspects of architecture. Through the development of these projects, my skills, Knowledge, and the way I view architecture also have evolved.
THE ROOM ( Interior project)
In the context of this project, I would describe a “Room” as a space with a boundary defined by color. The space is mainly approached through colors. Colors are used as a space-making device in this project. I used a softened primary color palette. For spaces with furniture just in some parts of the room, I have used color only in certain places to highlight and complement furniture spaces. The furniture, floors, walls, and ceiling use different colors to complement each other for a room with less furniture. For spaces filled with furniture and the central part of the room, I have made the entire room a singular color for the table to be highlighted and seen as an art piece of the room that can be used. The floors, walls, and ceiling use the same colors, while furniture uses many colors for the room filled with furniture. Apart from the colors, other elements like materials, furniture, and connections to other spaces also turn the space into a pro-grammatically defined “Room. ”
The centralized core circulation unit structurally runs in the middle throughout all floors with the egress stair, elevator, feature spiral stair, and bathrooms. This core unit acts as a support system for the grow- ing floor plans of the entire building. The floor plans grow on both sides to create cantilevers on each lev- el.

DISCONNECTED
The project intends to create spaces with different spatial effects in an underground path disconnected from the city. The path is built alongside the canal, leading the city to the river. The program is divided into two categories; institutional buildings and recreational buildings. The path is narrow toward the left side of the facility, where the institutional buildings are situated, creating privatized exterior space for those buildings. The path is broad in the right half of the facility, where the recreational buildings are, with more exterior space for activities. The shapes of the buildings define the shape of the path.

SHIFT CITY
This city is designed to show an abrupt shift in the physical environment when traveling on t city's roads. The change in the environment is in terms of climatic change, landscape change, and change in urban, rural, and suburban settings. when there is a change in the direction of the road, a shift in the environment happens. This is a completely manmade space with a different landscape, different climate, and settings.

FACADE DESIGNING (Internship at Vastukriti, Coimbatore, India)(Summer 2022)
OPTION 1
Façade with plaster claddings of different levels of extrusions. The design embraces the horizontality of the building as well as creates balance.
OPTION 2
A simple design that is vertical extrusions of the columns in the façade between the window. And just giving some variation with ribbon windows stair wall which extends to the logo wall.
OPTION 3
Façade is divided into three completely different parts with different elements. The central curve element cuts the horizontal façade into two. Leaving both halves and the center with distinct features.

NESTED BREAKFORMS (Interlocking
Standing Seam)
This project is about Breaking and forming metal interlocking standing seams integrated with wood. The materialistic qualities of these materials are in contrast. The heaviness of the wood and the lightness of the sheet metal contrast and create a different kind of tension in the environment. The main essence of this project is that the exterior is completely covered with 45-degree diagonal standing seams in the same direction and sized with so much uniformity and low tension. There are different size standing seams in opposite directions in the interior, breaking the normative grid seen in the exterior.
The different-sized seams are proportional to each other. And the entire structure itself replicates the standing seam. In the interior, the seams grow and change direction in a controlled way but look organic. Whereas on the exterior, it is more controlled, and strictness can be seen.
STAIRS DESIGN
A Freshman-year project of a four-story stair design solely. In this design, the edges of the stairs in the plan keep increasing on each level to create interesting visual and spatial moments. In the section, the edges of the stair are cut 45 degrees to create different headspaces and void spaces while walking through the stairs.
