We are dedicated to creating a zine that showcases the diverse work of the class of 2024 cohort. With a budget of £400, we will produce a physical zine, accompanied by a digital zine website, and a ‘Class Of 2024‘ film.

ZINE MANAGEMENT:

Collecting and collating a cohesive zine featuring students work. Create an interactive experience for readers, and ensure layouts and fonts are in line with branding.

BRANDING:

To develop and distribute a branding kit to be used by all teams for Launch Night. Ensure coherent branding across the board.

COMMUNICATIONS:

Communicating and liasing with other teams and external sources to retrieve all relevant resourses and hit deadlines.

FINANCE MANAGEMENT:

Adhereing to a strict budget and finding affordable printing and digital solutions. I aim to not exceed our £400 budget, and still have money remaining by the end of this module.

WEBSITE CREATION & MANAGEMENT:

Creating an informational website to showcase students work, the course and the beginning of the Studio 204 legacy. Creating a fully functioning and cohesive website in line with branding guidelines. This aims to act as the digital alternative to the physical zine, and enrich the experience of the zine readers via the use of QR codes.

PLANNING & ORGANISATION:

To keep myself and my team on track with our various tasks, organise and collate work effectively, and ensure sufficient planning to ensure deadlines are met.

KPI’S

ORGANISATION:

To ensure effective organization and timely progress throughout the project, as an individual I will achieve task completions by assigned deadlines each week.

This will be measured by recording our tracking progress through the use of a google sheets spread that we put together as a team.

This KPI will be tracked and reported throughout the entire duration of the project to maintain high levels of accountability and efficiency within the team.

DECISION MAKING:

To ensure decisions are made promptly and are well-informed, leading to improved organisational performance and goal achievement. This objective is important as individually we will have to make decisions on what we like/ thinks looks best as part of the group project.

This KPI is something I will have to do a lot of , and by leveraging the diverse skills and perspectives within the team this will ultimately lead to a more effective outcome.

ZINE CONTENT CREATION:

Collecting and collating a cohesive zine featuring student’s work. This KPI ensures the creation of content using AI to come up with a front cover, helping choose layouts and making sure the fonts are in line with the branding of the new course.

The objective of this KPI is to enhance the appeal and impact of the zine’s front cover and pages to attract new readers. As an individual I will generate content including AI imagery to help our team decide what content we would like to use as a front cover and throughout the zine.

VIDEO CREATION:

To ensure the creation of a film/ Instagram reel video by gathering short clips from other student’s in which I can edit and collate a final film to be shown at Launch Night.

The objective of this KPI is to enhance the effectiveness of the video content to engage the audience and support the zine’s digital presence.

COMMUNICATION:

Communicating and reaching out to other teams and external sources to retrieve all relevant resources and to accomplish deadlines.

The objective of this KPI is to enhance interdepartmental communication to improve collaboration, efficiency, and project outcomes.

AS THE CLASS OF 2024 TEAM, WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COLLABORATED ON CREATING A COHESIVE PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL ZINE, DEVELOPING A DYNAMIC WEBSITE, AND PRODUCING AN ENGAGING YEAR GROUP VIDEO.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS STEM FROM BALANCING EACH OTHER'S STRENGTHS AND MAINTAINING CONSISTENT COMMUNICATION. EACH OF US BROUGHT OUR OWN UNIQUE SET OF SKILLS, ALLOWING US TO WORK SEAMLESSLY AS A TEAM.

EACH OF US HAS BEEN ABLE TO BUILD ON OUR STRENGTHS AND DEVELOP NEW SKILLS, WHICH WE ARE HOPEFUL TO USE IN OUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
