Embarking on the transformative odyssey of architectural studies, my journey has been an alchemy of concrete and spirituality, a quest to infuse spaces with a transcendent quality. The design studio, to me, is not just a workshop but a sacred space where curiosity meets creativity. As an architectural student, I’ve delved into the profound connection between the built environment and the human spirit. Each project is a pilgrimage, a quest for balance between the earthly and the ethereal. Intrigued by the interplay of light, form, and the unseen forces shaping our perception, I navigate narrow entrances that invite curiosity, leading to expansive interiors that echo the vastness of possibilities. The portfolio is more than a showcase; it’s an invitation to explore a spiritual dimension within the built world—a fusion of design, curiosity, and a profound sense of place.

ProArts Fusion Hub

A Symphony of Light and Concrete Project: Professional Arts Consortium

Software used:

Revit - Autocad - Sketchup - Lumion - D5 - Photoshop - Rayon

Welcome to the ProArts Fusion Hub, a dynamic architectural venture by the Professional Arts Consortium, uniting seven Boston-area colleges dedicated to the visual and performing arts. Inspired by events like Burning Man, it’s a space that reinvents itself biannually, showcasing the diverse cultural tapestry within the Consortium. Through collaborative efforts, it offers a transformative experience—an amalgamation of art, placemaking, and music, inviting active community participation. This innovative space features a central courtyard, connecting two buildings, while a sinuous concrete wall and strategically positioned skywell infuse the interior with natural light and harmony, embodying the Hub’s ethos of creativity and connection.

an innovative architectural concept for a multifunctional structure in the heart of Boston, this project transcends conventional design by seamlessly integrating urban surroundings, crafting an experiential space that fosters emotional connections through meticulous attention to natural light, material selection, and spatial harmony.

The site, nestled along Boylston Street near the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, boasts a unique urban context, with a highway passing directly beneath it. This distinctive location offers both opportunities and challenges, inspiring innovative architectural solutions that seamlessly integrate the site’s dynamic surroundings into the design narrative.

The courtyard serves as a breathable public open space and effectively separates two functional buildings, catering to specific needs.

A concrete wall weaves through the site, delineating spaces and enhancing isolation from outside noise.

The skywell channels direct light onto performers, while gently diffusing natural light across each floor.

TranquilArbor Vault Oasis

A Serene Fusion of Nature and Purpose.

Project:

GreenQuarry Renewal: Reviving Nature Through Plant Inspiration.

Software used:

Rhino - Blender - Autocad - Sketchup - Lumion - Photoshop

The design initiative entails the development of a triathlon path on Vinalhaven Island, intricately weaving through its distinctive landscapes to culminate at a quarry slated for transformation into an archive. The architectural vision for this project is founded upon a meticulous consideration of the island’s unique ecology, with a specific emphasis on the thriving flora. Our approach involves an intentional integration of these botanical elements, ensuring that the design and experiential aspects resonate harmoniously with the island’s ecological fabric. This holistic undertaking seeks to not only provide a dynamic and engaging triathlon path but also to imbue the subsequent archival space with a narrative deeply rooted in the island’s flourishing plant life.

‘TranquilArbor Vault Oasis,’ a stunning architectural masterpiece set in the heart of a quarry. ‘Tranquil’ reflects our dedication to peace and calm, while ‘Arbor’ signifies a serene retreat amidst nature’s raw beauty. ‘Vault Oasis’ captures the essence of a safe haven and a refreshing sanctuary within this rugged landscape. Here, the majesty of the White Spruce blends seamlessly with elegant design, redefining tranquility in the quarry’s embrace.

Lawson’s Quarry, situated on Vinalhaven Island in Maine, was a prominent granite quarry that operated from the 19th to the mid-20th century. It produced high-quality granite used in various construction projects across the United States. Today, it stands as a historic site, showcasing the island’s granite quarrying heritage and attracting visitors interested in its history and scenic beauty.

Divide spaces according to their functional use for optimal efficiency and organization

The wooden deck is strategically designed to offer panoramic views of the quarry, while the amphitheater is designated for cultural celebrations. Additionally, a separate archive space is allocated to ensure privacy and focused work

To encourage creative exploration within the quarry, a maze-like design incorporates granite rocks in a large open area, facilitating multiple pathways connecting various spaces for dynamic circulation

Sustainable Architectural Symphony:

Project: Residential Project

Software used:

Autocad - Sketchup - Lumion

In our recent semester project, we prioritized sustainability by using bamboo as the primary construction material. We meticulously developed a comprehensive set of technical drawings that vividly portrayed every aspect of the structure on paper. This endeavor not only showcased our commitment to precision and architectural excellence but also underscored our dedication to eco-friendly building practices. The integration of bamboo into our design was intricately detailed in the drawings, emphasizing our belief in responsible and forwardthinking architecture.

A Community Kitchen Inspired by Food Item

Software used:

Autocad - Sketchup - Lumion - Photoshop - Rayon

This architectural venture aims to create a welcoming space where people can forge connections, explore diverse cultures through culinary experiences, and engage with nature. The structure, designed for public interaction, features simple geometric forms for functional efficiency, surrounded by lush greenery providing natural shade. With varied elevations and interconnected spaces, the design encourages community engagement, experimentation, and a harmonious blend with the environment, fostering a dynamic and inviting atmosphere.

Forming Bamboo

Hands On Workshop

Project:

Making of Exhibition Pavilion

This intense technique-based workshop on making covers material properties, behaviour, tooling, and manufacturing techniques to arrive at live scale execution of an architec- tural form using bamboo as principal material. Gist of this workshop is to develop an ability to visualize and articulate form in a material through set of joineries while further clarifying to sequence of construction immensely involved in process of making. This workshop an intense hands on undertaking is a platform to understand bamboo as a ma- terial and the ways in which can be employed in building ar- chitecture through details and fabrication of components coming together in an assembly. It emphasizes on develop- ing ways of working with a material through working proto- types, sessions along with artisans leading to explorations relationship of parts coming together in an assembly through set of details. Work at local and regional scale shall develop an architectural form at a globe level.
