Greetings!

Welcome to the 9th Annual African American Leadership U. This year’s theme is "Linking to Empower Future Leaders." This Conference is special because it is our first in-person conference since 2020.

The Leadership U Planning Committee has worked tirelessly to prepare engaging and informative workshop sessions. These workshop sessions are designed to help you develop practical skills that you need in your own life right now as you navigate through school, and as you consider your future options steps beyond high school.

This Conference would not be possible without the support of Butler Community College of Andover, Capitol Federal, Chick-Fil-A, Evergy, Spirit AeroSystems, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, and all of our community supporters. Thank you for recognizing the value and for your continuous support for this event. Your partnership makes it possible to offer a quality Leadership U program for Kansas high school students and their families. Enjoy the conference.

With gratitude,

CarlBreckenridg
