1. Extension Installation • For Magento Marketplace Customers o Find the Composer name and version of the extension in the extension’s composer.json file. o Login to your SSH and run: ▪ composer require meetanshi/magento-2-product-qr-code-generator o Enter your authentication keys. Your public key is your username; your private key is your password. o Wait for Composer to finish updating your project dependencies and make sure there aren’t any errors. o To verify that the extension installed properly, run the command: ▪ php bin/magento module:status Meetanshi_QrCode o By default, the extension is probably disabled. o Enable the extension and clear static view files: ▪ php bin/magento module:enable Meetanshi_QrCode --clear-static-content ▪ php bin/magento setup:upgrade ▪ For Magento version 2.0.x to 2.1.x - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy ▪ For Magento version 2.2.x & above - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy –f ▪ php bin/magento cache:flush • For Meetanshi Customers o Extract the zip folder and upload our extension to the root of your Magento 2 directory via FTP. o Login to your SSH and run below commands step by step: ▪ php bin/magento setup:upgrade ▪ For Magento version 2.0.x to 2.1.x - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy ▪ For Magento version 2.2.x & above - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy –f ▪ php bin/magento cache:flush

2. Configuration To configure the extension, login to Magento 2 backend, move to Stores → Configuration → Product QR Code Generator where you can find various settings to configure the extension.

• Product QR Code Generator: Enable the extension from here.

• Product Attributes for QR Code: Enter product attributes along with the labels to generate product QR codes. For example, SKU: {sku}, Name: {name} o Go to Stores > Attributes > Product where you can find the list of product attributes.

Copy the product attribute code to use here for QR codes generation.

• Size of QR Code: Enter the size of QR code image in pixels.

3. QR Code Generation Go to Catalog > Products, select the products, select the “Generate QR Code” mass action from the dropdown to generate QR codes for selected products.

• QR Code Generation Success Message The extension shows success message once the QR codes have been generated for products.

4. Download Product QR Codes After the product QR codes have been generated, move to Catalog > Manage Product QR Codes from where you can download product QR codes. Here, already generated product QR codes are saved and enlisted with the details like IDs, product IDs and download action.

• QR Code Image Download Click the download action to download product QR code images in a zip file. Extract the zip file and you can see product QR codes images in JPG format.

The admin can share these product QR codes with the users to show the product details, allow them to use on packaging, share the catalog, etc.
