THOUGHT OF THE DAY: MTM SAMITA BHATKAL: Shared her thought of the day “Believe in Yourself”. “There may be days when you get up in the morning, things are not the way you hope they will be. That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will be better. There are times when people get disappoint and let you down. Those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgment and opinions and keep your life focused on believing in yourself. There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life. And it’s up you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction. It may not be easier times. But in times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are. So when the days that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you wanted your life to be. Because challenges and changes will only help you to find the goal that you know that meant to be yours. Working Hard is important but there is something that matters even more. That is believing in yourself. Difficult roads are often leads to beautiful destinations”. PREPARED SPEECHES: 1st Speaker TM FAWAD delivered his project No.3 “Get to the point” speech with the title “There is no failure, only feedback. Ha gave some live examples of his life where the failures were turned into an opportunity. At the end of his story he asked the audience again, “Have any one of you faced failure in life at any point of time?” and in reply many said “No”.

In the coming years the child grows to an adult and he performs mistakes and becomes ignorant. Of many facts of life which he/she has been taught or informed, nothing to be flabbergasted. It’s a way of life now a days. We know that we need to do certain things in life. But we tend to forget or tend to be ignorant.” He said, it was an educative speech with good opening, body and conclusion. The opening was interesting and attention grabbing when the speaker asked questions to the audience, “Have you helped your child in a school NMC Community Chapter • Where Leaders Are Made • http://nmc.toastmasters.com Meet alternate Mondays at Foodlands Restaurant – Mezzanine Floor – Hall-1

assignment?, Have helped your co-worker?”. We have the intention in us to help others. But did we really do that. The body of the speech contained 7 most important Evaluation skills. Reinforcing the specific purpose, Evaluation is an opinion only. We can’t force the speaker to repeat the project. Use nice tone when suggesting improvements. Don’t be harsh.
