Discovering antifragility

WhyStrong headwinds are blowing. In criticising a certain “ideological” vision of Diversity and Inclusion, these headwinds threaten to partially nullify the awareness-raising and cultural transformation efforts undertaken so far.
And so, on the occasion of toDEI's third birthday, it is worth claiming our distinctive approach to diversity, under the banner of antifragility.
Antifragility is meant as the ability of certain systems to evolve and improve in the face of pressures, stress factors, volatility, and disorder. “Antifragile” is our definition of inclusiveness, which we defend even more powerfully in the current “reactionary” phase. It is high time to affirm it as a common denominator for all of us, a bridge to those roots that determine whether we can think, feel, and act “inclusively”.

HowOn the occasion of toDEI Week 2025, we decided to narrate inclusion through 5 “powerful binomials”:
Complexity and uncertainty
Dissonance and tension
Vulnerability and fear
Acceptance and commitment
Courage and wisdom
Although unavoidable in human experiences, these binomials are also decisive factors for inclusion, because only when clashes evolve into discussions can encounters occur.

What

Our Diversity and Inclusion marathon is back: a full week rich in events, webinars, and sharing moments to grow and go beyond.
From 31 March to 4 April we will have the opportunity to reflect and meet up – both in person and online – through three ad-hoc formats:
toDEI Week Newsletter: A daily newsletter rich in food-forthought to inspire and fully understand the meaning of “antifragility”
ASK ME: Digital interviews with 5 managers to listen to their professional and personal testimonies on one of the 5 Inclusion “binomials” identified in toDEI Week Workshops: Meetings designed to get involved, together with colleagues and professionals, on several topics such as trust, masculinity, women's health, and much more
